Euronics Ireland Proudly Sponsors National Brown Bread Baking Competition 2025

Euronics Ireland is delighted to announce the details of the eagerly awaited National Brown Bread Baking Competition 2025. In partnership with the National Ploughing Association (NPA) and the Irish Countrywomen’s Association (ICA), this beloved annual event was officially launched at the Home of Innovation in Ballymount, Dublin.

Eight talented finalists will showcase their baking skills live on stage at the National Ploughing Championships Brown Bread Baking Tent on September 16th and 17th, with the winner crowned on September 18th.

Ireland’s passion for brown bread is legendary, with bakers across the country believing their recipe is the finest—whether due to a secret ingredient like honey, seeds, or even a splash of stout! The ultimate winner will be awarded a fantastic €5000 cash prize and a premium NEFF Slide & Hide oven. Additionally, the three runners-up will receive a €500 Euronics gift card each, and all other finalists will take home a €250 Euronics gift card and a delightful Neff hamper.

To enter, bakers are invited to deliver their freshly baked brown bread (one entry per person) to the designated Euronics locations listed below on the specified dates between 09:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Entries outside these times cannot be accepted.

All successful entrants will be contacted by August 11th and invited to participate at the National Ploughing Championships.
