What Is Samsung SmartThings App* and How Do I Use It?
SmartThings is one of the largest open ecosystems of connected devices with over 150 million users worldwide. The award-winning app is available on both Android and iOS, and is compatible with the leading voice assistants, giving you more control over your smart devices in one place.
The SmartThings App is Samsung's central app for controlling all smart home devices installed in your home. It isn't limited to Samsung device users since anyone with an Android device or an iOS device can install it. You'll get the most use out of the SmartThings App if you've purchased and installed the SmartThings Hub. Once you've set up your SmartThings Hub, you can install the app and start controlling your smart home devices. You can get the SmartThings App for Android from Google Play or get SmartThings for iOS on the App Store. Once installed, you can add the devices you own to the app.

What Is a Samsung Dual Cook Flexâ„¢ Oven?
Cook different sizes and types of meal more flexibly and efficiently. The Dual Cook Flex™ system’s upper and lower cooking zones work independently or together. Use just the upper zone to cook smaller dishes. You can also use both zones at the same time, with different temperature and time settings in each, to prepare a variety of dishes. Or you can use the whole oven to prepare larger dishes, like a holiday turkey, by simply removing the Dual Cook divider that separates the oven into two compartments. The flexible door is hinged in the middle, so you can access the top easily. If you don’t need the full oven, Dual Cook saves over 25% on energy and pre-heats 52% faster by only using the top half*.

What’s the Difference Between Single and Compact Ovens?
Compact ovens are smaller than single ovens, often with a capacity of up to 50 litres. Single ovens can be fitted either underneath the counter or at eye level. This flexibility makes them one of the most popular oven types on the market. They can be installed in kitchens of any size, making them a sound investment for most households. Whereas compact ovens are a smart choice for smaller kitchens, or for those who make large meals regularly and could use an additional cooking appliance. Washing machine dimensions can vary, so you should always double check the width, height and depth of your washing machine against the space that’s available.

Remember to factor in clearance space; washing machines require a gap of at least 50mm at the back and 25mm at either side, to accommodate piping.

When buying a new refrigerator, it’s important to think about whether you’ll benefit from any additional features. Here are some of the most common extras you’re likely to find.

Twin Cooling Systems
Samsung’s Twin Cooling Plus™ system was first introduced in 1995. Twin Cooling fridges contain two evaporators that manage the fridge and freezer space separately, which minimises temperature fluctuations and prevents odours from spreading between the units. Twin Cooling Plus™ systems also help to keep food fresher for longer.
Vacation Mode
Putting your refrigerator into holiday mode whilst you’re away will reduce energy consumption.
