If it can’t be repaired
Brightside replaces it, as set out in the policy terms. If the same part needs a fourth repair after three, the product is replaced.
What the policy doesn’t cover
Accidental or cosmetic damage, loss or theft, and faults while the manufacturer’s guarantee still applies. Every exclusion is in the policy terms (PDF).

A washing machine at €589 is in the €500 - €599 band, so its cover is €109.

Your legal rights stay the same
An extended warranty is extra. Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, and those rights last up to 6 years from delivery, whether you buy cover or not.

Which products can I cover?
Electrical products and computers priced from €300 to €1,299. When a product can be covered, you’ll see the option on its product page, with its price.
When does my cover start?
When the manufacturer’s guarantee ends. Your 2 years of Brightside cover run on from that date.
Do I need to register it?
No. Once you buy it, we register your warranty with Brightside and take care of the paperwork.
How do I make a claim?
Call Brightside free on 1800 819 240 and quote your warranty reference number. Brightside arranges the repair, and there’s no excess to pay.
Can I cancel it?
Yes. Tell us within 14 days of buying your product and we’ll cancel the warranty with a full refund, as long as no claim has been made. Call 01 531 0700 or email onlineorders@euronics.ie.
Is it insurance?
Yes. The extended warranty is an insurance product underwritten by AWP P&C S.A., Dutch Branch (Allianz Partners) and administered by Brightside. Read the policy terms and the Insurance Product Information Document below before you buy.
