In Slate with Chrome trim, this freestanding 110cm dual fuel range cooker brings together a five-burner gas hob, two radiant zones and a pair of A-rated electric ovens. The result is a cooker for confident home cooks who plan meals around several dishes rather than around one tray in one oven.

The two ovens are the point. Each holds 80 litres and each is rated A, so the eight-function multifunction cavity can take a roast while the fanned oven handles trays of vegetables or a second bake. Why the separate grill matters

On many cookers the grill is an element inside an oven, which means grilling and roasting compete for the same space. Here the grill is its own 29-litre cavity drawing 2.3kW, and it runs across the full width or just half of it. Half width is the setting most people use, browning a few pieces without heating an element you do not need. Both ovens carry on regardless, which is the whole point of a third cavity.

Cleaning without a pyrolytic cycle

Both ovens are lined with catalytic panels rather than being self-cleaning in the pyrolytic sense. Catalytic liners work continuously, absorbing splashes and grease at normal cooking temperatures instead of burning everything off in one very hot cycle. In practice that means less dramatic maintenance but more attention paid to the parts that are not lined. The shelves and the cast iron pan supports all lift out, so the surfaces that collect most can go to the sink.
