Euronics Group - Backing the Women's Champions League and Women's EURO 2029
Euronics, Europe's largest electronics retail group and proud partner of over 60 independent stores across Ireland, has renewed and expanded its sponsorship of UEFA Women's Football in a landmark multi-year deal.

Euronics Group has signed a new four-year agreement with UEFA to continue as an Official Partner of the UEFA Women's Champions League for three seasons — through to the 2027–28 campaign — while also becoming an official sponsor of UEFA Women's EURO 2029, which will be held in Germany.
The deal strengthens a partnership that began with the inaugural sponsorship of UEFA Women's Football, which has already covered the UEFA Women's Champions League and UEFA Women's EURO in both 2022 and 2025, as well as the Together #WePlayStrong campaign.
A Partnership Built on Community
For Euronics, this is about far more than pitch-side branding. As a group made up of independent, locally owned stores across 24 European markets, the sponsorship gives each member the opportunity to bring the partnership to life in their own community.
In the UK, Euronics members set up a successful grassroots programme, with local shop owners sponsoring girls' football teams in their communities. In the Netherlands, Euronics provided 22 local children — all from customer families of stores around Eindhoven — with the once-in-a-lifetime experience of walking onto the pitch as player mascots during UEFA Women's Champions League knockout matches. In Portugal, the partnership has been used to challenge societal norms around women in football.

Here in Ireland, Euronics has worked with its member stores to identify and support local girls' and women's football teams at grassroots level — bringing the spirit of the partnership directly into the communities that our stores serve every day.
What the Sponsorship Includes
As an Official Partner, Euronics holds a range of exclusive rights across both the UEFA Women's Champions League and the UEFA Women's EURO, including stadium advertising, broadcast-visible branding, digital and social media integrations, and fan engagement opportunities across UEFA platforms.
One of the most meaningful elements is Euronics' exclusive player mascot rights. During all UEFA Women's Champions League knockout matches and all UEFA Women's EURO tournament matches, it is Euronics that selects the young mascots who walk onto the pitch alongside the players — creating unforgettable moments for children and families connected to Euronics stores across Europe.
A New Era for Women's Club Football
The renewed partnership comes at an exciting time for the competition. From the 2025–26 season, the UEFA Women's Champions League moved to a new 18-team league phase format, bringing greater visibility and more matches than ever before. Disney+ has secured a five-year broadcast deal covering all 75 games per season, ensuring fans across Europe and beyond can follow every moment of the action.
"We're excited to renew our partnership with UEFA and continue supporting the UEFA Women's Champions League and UEFA Women's EURO 2029. The new league format of the Women's Champions League and greater broadcast exposure give us an amazing opportunity to reach more fans and communities. We are proud to have been part of the immense growth of women's football, and our members across all our markets are looking forward to bringing this partnership to life locally."
— John Olsen, CEO of Euronics International
