In short
For home baking, the main appliance is a mixer: a stand mixer kneads dough and whisks larger batches, and a hand mixer handles cakes and cream. Check the rated dough load: the 5 L Kenwood kMix takes up to 1.35 kg. A food processor helps with pastry, and some ovens add steam or a Bread Baking mode.
Kenwood mixers from the compact 4 L Go to the Chef in titanium, a Chef Baker with scales built in.
Match the bowl to your biggest bake, then the motor: 800 W on the Go, 1000 W on the Kitchen Chef and kMix, and 1200 W on the Chef XL and Chef in titanium. The Chef in titanium also weighs ingredients straight into its bowl.

From the product descriptions and our guides.
Each Kenwood stand mixer has a rated maximum load, and it does not always follow the bowl. The compact Go takes 1.5 kg of dough, more than the kMix with its bigger bowl, although the kMix holds more cake mix. The Kitchen Chef and Chef XL each take 5 kg of cake mix, with 2.18 kg and 2.42 kg of dough. If you bake bread for a family each week, compare the dough figure first.
A hand mixer suits smaller, occasional bakes such as sponges, biscuits and whipped cream. The QuickMix Go's recommended maximum is 450 g of flour, and the Quickmix Lite is designed for light and medium mixing tasks. The Chefette sits between a hand and a stand mixer and is made for smaller kitchens: use the hand unit in any bowl, or dock it on the stand, which turns the bowl and keeps mixing while you prepare other ingredients.
For bread, look for a dedicated setting and a low starting temperature. The NEFF N50 has a Bread Baking mode and a range of 30 to 275 °C, so the same oven can prove the dough and bake the loaf, and its Slide&Hide door slides away under the cavity. The Bosch HQA574BS3B adds steam to its heat modes for a crisp outside and a moist inside, and has 10 AutoPilot programmes.
It depends on how much you bake at once. The Go's 4 L bowl is sized for everyday baking and the Chef XL's 6.7 L bowl for big batches; the Kitchen Chef has 4.6 L and the kMix 5 L. A bigger bowl also whisks more: the Chef XL takes up to 16 egg whites, the kMix 12.
Yes, if it comes with kneaders, also called dough hooks. The HMP30 has stainless steel dough hooks for bread, pizza and enriched dough, the QuickMix Go has kneaders, and the Chefette has twin kneaders and keeps kneading on its stand. For bigger loaves, a stand mixer's dough tool takes more: up to 1.5 kg on the Kenwood Go.
Yes, in an oven with a fan system made for it. The NEFF N50's CircoTherm hot air bakes on up to three levels, and so does the 3D HotAir in the Bosch HQA574BS3B. The Bosch HHF113BA0B's 3D Hotair cooks across multiple levels, and the Electrolux KOFFP46TX's SurroundCook spreads heat evenly across all its levels.
Yes. The Kenwood MultiPro Express FDP65 handles pastry, with a knife blade and a dough tool in its 3 L bowl. For bread and pizza dough, the Ninja PrecisionPro has a dough blade and a dough preset that stops on its own once the gluten has developed, so the dough is not overworked.
No, pyrolytic cleaning changes how you clean the oven, not how it bakes. The oven heats up until residue turns to ash you wipe away. The NEFF N50, Bosch HQA574BS3B and Electrolux EOM6P46K and KOFFP46TX are pyrolytic; the Bosch HQA534BB3B has an EcoClean Direct coating, and the HHF113BA0B an enamel interior you clean by hand.
