Description

Apple HomePod mini Smart Speaker, White · product code MY5H2B/A

Just under 8.5cm tall, the HomePod mini fills a room with 360-degree sound. An Apple-designed full-range driver with a powerful neodymium magnet handles deep bass and crisp highs, two force-cancelling passive radiators extend the bass, and an acoustic waveguide directs the sound out of the bottom of the speaker so it sounds the same wherever you sit. The S5 chip runs computational audio in real time, tuning the sound at any volume.

Siri is built in, listening through four microphones that work even in a noisy kitchen, recognising up to six family members' voices and handling Intercom messages between rooms. Add more HomePod or HomePod mini speakers for multi-room audio with AirPlay 2, or pair two minis for stereo. It is also a home hub for HomeKit and Matter accessories, with Thread networking, a temperature and humidity sensor and Ultra Wideband for handing music off from an iPhone by bringing it close. The acoustically transparent mesh fabric comes in white, with a backlit touch surface on top and a 20W power adapter in the box.

Full description

Apple's HomePod mini packs an Apple-designed full-range driver, dual passive radiators, an acoustic waveguide and S5-chip computational audio into a speaker under 8.5cm tall, for rich 360-degree sound at any volume.

Four microphones give Siri far-field hearing, with voice recognition for six people and Intercom, while AirPlay 2 multi-room, stereo pairing, Thread and a HomeKit and Matter home hub make it the centre of a smart home. Finished in white.

What stands out

Room-filling sound

At just under 8.5 centimetres tall, HomePod mini takes up almost no space but fills the entire room with rich, 360-degree audio that sounds good from every angle.

Balanced at any volume

The Apple S5 chip enables computational audio, processing complex algorithms in real time for balanced, fine-tuned sound at any volume.

Bass extension

Apple-designed force-cancelling passive radiators give HomePod mini remarkable bass extension for its size.

A connected sound system for your whole home

With several HomePod speakers around the house you can play one song everywhere or a different song in each room, and two HomePod mini speakers form a stereo pair.

Siri recognises you, him, her and them

Siri recognises the voices of up to six family members, each with a personalised experience, and Intercom carries messages to the whole house or individual rooms.

Easy to connect. Simple to control.

HomePod mini acts as a home hub, letting you control HomeKit and Matter-enabled accessories remotely through the Home app.

Private and secure

Siri only listens for Hey Siri, and nothing you say is sent out of your home until you activate Siri with a touch or the wake words.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:

  • free repair or free replacement;
  • in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
