Bosch Series 6 Freestanding 9kg Heat Pump Condenser Tumble Dryer
A 9 kg Series 6 heat pump dryer with a Self-Cleaning Condenser, a reversing bed linen programme and 88 per cent condensation efficiency, in plain white.
The WQG24500GB is Bosch's Series 6 heat pump tumble dryer in white, rated for 9 kg loads and built to slide under a standard worktop at 84.2 by 59.8 cm. It is the unconnected version of the Series 6 machine: no app, no network setup, just a soft dial, touch controls and a large LED display.
What it keeps is the Self-Cleaning Condenser, which clears fluff automatically while the programme runs, and a condensation efficiency of 88 per cent in class B. The bed linen programme reverses the drum so large items dry without balling up, and a drum interior light means nothing gets left behind in the back of the drum.
Ideal For
A 9 kg rated capacity handles a big mixed wash in one cycle, with twelve special programmes covering towels, bedding, sportswear, woollens, down and delicates.
There is no app to install and no account to create. A soft dial selects the programme, touch buttons handle the options, and the LED display shows time remaining and progress.
The condensate container can be emptied by hand, or you can fit the optional WTZ1110 drainage kit and pipe the water straight to a drain instead.

Choosing the unconnected Series 6
Plenty of buyers would rather not add another appliance to the home network, and this machine is built for them. The drying hardware is all there: a heat pump with a Self-Cleaning Condenser, a stainless steel drum, the Sensitive Drying System and AntiVibration side walls. There is no remote start, no monitoring from your phone and no downloadable programmes. What you get instead is a dryer that works the moment it is plugged in, with a dial, touch buttons and a display.
Bedding, towels and bulky loads
Large items are where dryers usually struggle, because a duvet cover can wrap itself around everything else and come out damp in the middle. The bed linen programme answers that by reversing the drum, keeping items separate through the cycle. There are dedicated towels and down programmes too, and the 9 kg rated capacity gives bulky loads room to move. Anti-crease runs for 120 minutes after the programme ends if you are not there to unload.

On the current EU label this is energy class C, drawing 1.10 kWh for a full eco cycle or 110 kWh per hundred cycles, with condensation efficiency of 88 per cent in class B. Airborne noise is 61 dB(A), noise class B, and the AntiVibration side walls are there to keep the cabinet steady while it runs. A full eco load takes three hours fifteen minutes, or two hours five at half capacity, and Bosch rates the machine repairability class A.
