The saving is not just electricity: it is a second cycle you do not have to remember to start, and an evening that does not revolve around the machine. VarioDrum's surface pattern is designed to be gentle on fabrics at that volume, and a drum interior light means nothing gets left behind at the back.
Stains, steam and the ironing pile
AntiStain gives four stain removal options selected on the touch panel, and the machine adapts the cycle to suit rather than relying on you choosing the right temperature. Iron Assist is separate: a steam programme run on dry clothes to relax wrinkles, which reduces what ends up under the iron. A Reduced Ironing option is also available during a normal wash. The trade-offs worth knowing about
This is an A-rated machine, and the Eco 40-60 programme takes three hours and 50 minutes at rated capacity to get there on 51 kWh per 100 cycles and 50 litres of water. Noise is 74 dB in class B, which is audible in an open-plan room, though AntiVibration Design and the EcoSilence Drive motor keep it steady through a 1400 rpm spin. There is no Home Connect and no i-DOS automatic dosing on this model. The LED display, 24 hour delay end and Reload function cover the practical side.

Recycling your old electricals
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is taken back free of charge on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis. Waste batteries including rechargeable batteries are taken back free of charge. You are not obliged to make any purchase when returning old batteries. Each local authority must also accept household WEEE and small batteries free of charge at its recycling facilities. Legal guarantee
Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.
Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:
- do not match the description;
- do not function as intended.
Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:
- free repair or free replacement;
- in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.
Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

What to do if you receive non-conforming goods:
