The Series 6 WKD28543GB washes 7 kg and dries 4 kg from behind a matching kitchen door. It is aimed at households that want the space saving of a combined machine without giving up programme choice, and it brings AquaStop water protection and a broad programme list to a fully integrated 60 cm cabinet.
AutoDry is the difference that matters. Rather than setting a drying time and hoping, the machine senses the load and stops at the dryness level you asked for, so cottons come out ready to fold and delicate items are not overcooked. Timed drying is still there when you want to control it yourself.

What AutoDry actually changes
Timed drying asks you to estimate. You set thirty minutes, come back, and find the towels still damp or the shirts baked harder than they needed to be. AutoDry removes the estimate: the machine monitors the load and stops when it reaches the dryness level you chose. For a combined washer dryer, where the drying load is smaller than the wash load, that accuracy matters more than it would in a standalone dryer.
Living with an integrated machine
The WKD28543GB measures 82 cm high, 59.5 cm wide and 58.4 cm deep and fits behind your own furniture door. Height adjustment uses cardanDrive, and the base is adjustable for both height and depth, which helps when a kitchen floor is not quite level. The door is left-hinged with a metal catch and opens through 180 degrees, so loading is not a contortion even in a tight run.
A programme list built for real weeks
The programme list here is long for a combined machine. Alongside the 30, 40 and 60 degree washes and a cold wash option there is Intensive for heavily soiled loads, Mixed Load for the everyday basket, Night Wash and Quiet Wash for evening running, SportsWear for synthetics and functional fibres, Allergy+ for extra rinsing, and Delicates at 30 degrees. Recycling your old electricals
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is taken back free of charge on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis. Waste batteries including rechargeable batteries are taken back free of charge. You are not obliged to make any purchase when returning old batteries. Each local authority must also accept household WEEE and small batteries free of charge at its recycling facilities. All WEEE and waste batteries must be recycled and should not be placed in any of your household wheelie bins. Make sure you always recycle all your old electrical goods and batteries.

Legal guarantee
Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.
Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:
- do not match the description;
- do not function as intended.
Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:
- free repair or free replacement;
- in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.
Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

What to do if you receive non-conforming goods:
