Bosch Series 6 Integrated Washer Dryer 7kg/4kg

A fully integrated washer dryer with AutoDry, sensing when your load is dry rather than running a timer, plus a 15 minute Super Quick wash for 2 kg.

The Series 6 WKD28543GB washes 7 kg and dries 4 kg from behind a matching kitchen door. It is aimed at households that want the space saving of a combined machine without giving up programme choice, and it brings AquaStop water protection and a broad programme list to a fully integrated 60 cm cabinet.

AutoDry is the difference that matters. Rather than setting a drying time and hoping, the machine senses the load and stops at the dryness level you asked for, so cottons come out ready to fold and delicate items are not overcooked. Timed drying is still there when you want to control it yourself.

Ideal for

Open-plan kitchens

Quiet Wash reduces the spin speed for a quieter cycle, and Night Wash exists for the same reason, which matters when the laundry sits in the room you live in.

Active households

SportsWear handles microfibre, functional fibres and synthetics, while Super Quick 15 turns around 2 kg in fifteen minutes for kit that needs to be ready again tomorrow.

Sensitive skin

The Allergy+ programme sits alongside the standard washes, and a prewash option is there when a load needs more than a single rinse cycle to come clean.

Key features

AutoDry sensor drying

The machine senses when the load has reached the dryness you selected and stops there, instead of running a fixed time and guessing at the result.

Super Quick 15

A quick wash cycle that takes up to 2 kg of laundry in fifteen minutes, for the shirt or the kit bag you need back in circulation today.

AquaStop water protection

Bosch's AquaStop system guards against water damage, which is reassurance worth having when the machine is boxed into a fitted cabinet and out of sight.

18 programmes

From Intensive and Mixed Load to Night Wash, Allergy+, SportsWear and Delicates at 30 °C, the programme list covers far more than a basic cottons and synthetics pair.

Quiet Wash

A dedicated programme that reduces the spin speed to keep noise down, useful in an open-plan room or when a cycle has to run late in the evening.

Large display

Programme progress, temperature, spin speed, time remaining, delay timer and drying level all show on one display, so you can see what the machine is doing.

More to know

What AutoDry actually changes

Timed drying asks you to estimate. You set thirty minutes, come back, and find the towels still damp or the shirts baked harder than they needed to be. AutoDry removes the estimate: the machine monitors the load and stops when it reaches the dryness level you chose. For a combined washer dryer, where the drying load is smaller than the wash load, that accuracy matters more than it would in a standalone dryer.

Living with an integrated machine

The WKD28543GB measures 82 cm high, 59.5 cm wide and 58.4 cm deep and fits behind your own furniture door. Height adjustment uses cardanDrive, and the base is adjustable for both height and depth, which helps when a kitchen floor is not quite level. The door is left-hinged with a metal catch and opens through 180 degrees, so loading is not a contortion even in a tight run.

A programme list built for real weeks

The programme list here is long for a combined machine. Alongside the 30, 40 and 60 degree washes and a cold wash option there is Intensive for heavily soiled loads, Mixed Load for the everyday basket, Night Wash and Quiet Wash for evening running, SportsWear for synthetics and functional fibres, Allergy+ for extra rinsing, and Delicates at 30 degrees. Super Quick 15 handles 2 kg in a quarter of an hour, and a reload facility lets you add the item you missed after the cycle has started.
