eufy SoloCam E42 2-Camera Kit with HomeBase 3, White, White · product code E8173321

Two 4K cameras, solar powered, with HomeBase 3. The SoloCam E42 2-Camera Kit with HomeBase 3, White is designed to keep a closer eye on the part of the home that matters, with image quality, field of view and recording options doing more useful work than a long list of novelty features. Video is captured at 4K UHD, giving you the level of detail to expect when checking live view or recorded clips. Coverage is described as 360° pan, which can reduce the blind area compared with a fixed view. Recording support includes microSD up to 128GB, useful if you prefer to keep footage locally where the model supports it.

Full description

This kit has two eufy SoloCam E42 cameras and a HomeBase 3 (HomeBase S380).

Each camera records in 4K UHD, which eufy says can pick out number plates up to 10 m away. It pans 355° and tilts 70°, has 8× digital zoom, and its built-in AI detects people and vehicles and follows them as they move. At night it uses infrared night vision, and a 250-lumen motion-activated spotlight can light the scene.

A built-in solar panel (SolarPlus 2.0) keeps each camera charged; eufy says 2 hours of direct sunlight a day is enough. When a camera detects an intruder it sounds a 103 dB siren, flashes red and blue strobe lights and sends an alert to your phone, and two-way audio lets you talk through it from the eufy Security app. The cameras are rated IP65 and connect over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.

Recordings are stored locally on HomeBase 3, which has 16 GB of built-in storage and takes a hard drive of up to 16 TB, or on a microSD card of up to 128 GB in each camera (card not included), with no monthly fee. The kit works with Alexa and Google Assistant, and with Apple HomeKit through HomeBase 3.

Legal guarantee

Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.

Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:

  • do not match the description;
  • do not function as intended.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:

  • free repair or free replacement;
  • in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

For more information on your rights in a specific country, scan the QR code below or ask the seller. europa.eu/youreurope/guarantees

What to do if you receive non-conforming goods:

  1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue;
  2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement.

Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
