eufyCam S3 Pro 2-Camera Kit with HomeBase 3 — 4K solar-powered security cameras

This kit has two eufyCam S3 Pro cameras and a HomeBase 3 (HomeBase S380). Each camera records in 4K (3840 × 2160) through an F1.0 lens with a 1/1.8-inch sensor and a 135° field of view, and has a built-in SolarPlus 2.0 solar panel. The kit also includes one backup solar panel that mounts separately.

Recordings are stored on HomeBase 3, which has 16 GB of storage and takes a 2.5-inch hard drive or SSD of up to 16 TB, with no monthly fee. The cameras connect over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and work only with HomeBase 3 (not HomeBase 2).

Colour night vision

MaxColor Vision records in colour in low light without switching on a spotlight. For darker scenes the camera can use its adaptive spotlight (4 LED spotlights) or infrared night vision, which lights up to 10 m.

Radar and PIR motion detection

Each camera combines radar and passive infrared (PIR) sensing to pick out human movement in the activity zones you set and to filter out false alerts; radar detection reaches up to about 12 m. AI recognition covers faces, people, vehicles and pets, and 24/7 Snapshot takes photos between motion events.

Solar power

The built-in SolarPlus 2.0 panel charges each camera’s battery; eufy says one hour of optimal sunlight is enough to keep a camera working for a whole day, depending on how strong the sun is. Where a camera gets less sun, such as under the eaves, the backup solar panel can be added. A camera can also run on plug-in power through its USB-C port.

Two-way audio and siren

Full-duplex two-way audio with a dual-microphone array and noise reduction picks up voices up to 8 m away, so you can talk to visitors from the eufy Security app. Each camera also has a 100 dB siren (measured at 0.1 m).

Legal guarantee

Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.

Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:

  • do not match the description;
  • do not function as intended.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:

  • free repair or free replacement;
  • in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is taken back free of charge on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis. Waste batteries including rechargeable batteries are taken back free of charge. You are not obliged to make any purchase when returning old batteries. Each local authority must also accept household WEEE and small batteries free of charge at its recycling facilities. All WEEE and waste batteries must be recycled and should not be placed in any of your household wheelie bins. Make sure you always recycle all your old electrical goods and batteries.
