The Garmin USB-A charging and data cable is the 0.5 metre lead that charges and syncs most current Garmin watches from a computer USB port or an optional USB mains adapter. One end is a standard USB-A plug, the other is Garmin's four-pin watch connector used across the fenix, Forerunner, Instinct, Venu, vivoactive, Enduro, Approach and Bounce ranges.

Garmin lists more than 200 compatible devices, including every fenix 8 and fenix 9, the Forerunner 55, 70, 170, 265, 570 and 970, the Instinct E and Instinct 3, the Venu 4 and Venu X1, vivoactive 5 and 6, Lily 2 Active, Bounce 2 and the CIRQA band. It is the spare for the car, the office drawer or the gym bag, and the full compatibility list is on Garmin's site.

Lily 2 uses a clip charger rather than this plug, so check the compatibility list for older or non-standard models. The cable transfers data as well as power.

Legal guarantee

Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.

Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:

do not match the description;
do not function as intended.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:

free repair or free replacement;
in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

You are not obliged to make any purchase when returning old batteries. Each local authority must also accept household WEEE and small batteries free of charge at its recycling facilities. All WEEE and waste batteries must be recycled and should not be placed in any of your household wheelie bins. Make sure you always recycle all your old electrical goods and batteries.
