Full description

Ten kilograms takes the big loads: bedding, towels, a full week of uniforms. The Haier X Series 5 weighs what you put in and sets the water, energy and time to match, so half a drum is not washed as if it were a full one.

Smart AI draws on more than 2,500 fabric and load combinations to choose the settings, and Intelli Wash lets you lean any cycle towards Rapid, Eco or Intense. It is class A for energy at 41kWh per 100 cycles, and after every wash it rinses its own drum.

What stands out

Smart Dual Spray

An automatic cleaning system that sprays the drum down after each wash, clearing the residue and detergent that would otherwise build up and start to smell. It runs on its own; there is no maintenance cycle to remember.

Auto Weigh and Smart AI

The machine detects the size of the load and adjusts cycle duration, energy and water to suit, working from more than 2,500 fabric and load combinations.

Rapid, Eco or Intense

Intelli Wash lets you tune a programme to the day you are having: quicker when you are short of time, leaner when you are not, or a deeper clean for the load that needs it.

Pillow Drum

Cushion-shaped pads in the 63 litre stainless steel drum let fabric glide across the surface rather than catch on it, which is what keeps clothes looking newer for longer.

Steam and Refresh

A steam programme is built in, and the Refresh cycle revives lightly worn clothes without putting them through a full wash.

hOn app over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth

More than 60 extra cycles, scheduling, remote control and maintenance checks from your phone. Start delay runs up to 24 hours, so a wash can finish as you get home or run on a night rate.

Class A running costs

41kWh per 100 Eco 40-60 cycles and 44 litres of water per cycle, with a class B spin-drying rating at 1400rpm and class A noise at 72dB on the spin. The inverter motor is what keeps both the noise and the consumption down.

Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:

  • do not match the description;
  • do not function as intended.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:

  • free repair or free replacement;
  • in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

What to do if you receive non-conforming goods:

  1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue;
  2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement.

Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
