Description

Intenso EOD 400D Slim External CD/DVD Writer, USB 3.2, Black · product code 5401400

The Intenso EOD 400D Slim brings a CD and DVD drive back to laptops that no longer have one. It burns DVD±R at 8x, dual-layer DVD±R at 6x, DVD-RW at 5x and CD-R at 24x, reads every common 120mm and 80mm format from CD-DA and Video CD to DVD-RAM and M-Disc, and connects over USB 3.2 Gen 1x1 with no separate power supply.

A Y-cable with both USB-C and USB-A plugs is in the box, so it works with a new MacBook or a ten-year-old PC, and a full version of Ashampoo Burning Studio is included for backups, data discs, audio CDs and video DVDs on Windows. The drive is 142 x 148 x 16mm and 250g in black, and runs on Windows 10 or later and macOS 10.x or later.

Full description

Designed and tested in Germany, the EOD 400D Slim is the reliable external burner for movies, data or music. It plays the DVD box set, rips the CD collection, installs software from disc and writes archive discs, including M-Disc media for long-term storage.

Its slim 16mm housing slides into a laptop sleeve, and because it draws power from the USB port there is nothing else to carry. A stable USB connection keeps data moving smoothly on every burn.

Legal guarantee

Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.

Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:

  • do not match the description;
  • do not function as intended.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:

  • free repair or free replacement;
  • in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

For more information on your rights in a specific country, scan the QR code below or ask the seller. europa.eu/youreurope/guarantees

What to do if you receive non-conforming goods:

  1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue;
  2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement.

Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
