Full description
NEFF N70 Built-In Warming Drawer 60 x 29 cm with Push & Pull Door
A 54-litre N 70 warming drawer in stainless steel that heats plates for a full table, proves dough and slow cooks, all behind a handleless Push & Pull front.
The N34HA11N1B is NEFF's full-height built-in warming drawer, sized at 60 x 29 cm to sit flush beneath an oven or coffee machine. It suits cooks who plate up properly: warm crockery, food held at temperature, and sauces that do not seize the moment they leave the pan.
Its usefulness goes well beyond plates. The thermostat runs from 30 to 80 degrees Celsius, which is exactly the territory for proving bread dough, keeping a course warm while another finishes, and the Slow Cook programme, which brings meat, poultry and vegetables along gently until they are tender.
Ideal For
With 54 litres of space for up to 40 plates or 192 espresso cups, it handles a dinner party's worth of crockery in one go, so every course arrives on properly warmed plates.
The dough proving function holds a steady low temperature between 30 and 80 degrees Celsius, giving bread and pizza dough a consistent, draught-free rise that an oven light or airing cupboard never quite manages.
The Slow Cook programme uses gentle, even heat for meat, poultry and vegetables. Start it in the afternoon and serve tender results in the evening without watching a pot.
Key Features
The full-height 29 cm drawer swallows serving dishes as well as plates, with a stated maximum load of 25 kg for stacked crockery.
An adjustable thermostat spans everything from gentle dough proving at the bottom of the range to properly hot plates at the top.
A dedicated setting for low-temperature cooking brings meat, poultry and vegetables to tenderness gradually, without drying them out.
A light tap opens and closes the handleless front, keeping the fascia clean-lined and easy to operate with full hands.
Electronic touch controls include a favourites button, so the setting you use most is one press away.
The 820 W connected load runs from a standard 220-240 V supply on a 10 A fuse, with a 175 cm cable for flexible siting.
Warm plates change how food tastes
Most home kitchens plate onto cold crockery, and the first casualty is the food: sauces skin over, roasts cool before they reach the table. A dedicated warming drawer fixes this properly. Forty plates or 192 espresso cups can be brought to serving temperature at once, and because the thermostat is adjustable from 30 to 80 degrees Celsius, you can hold food itself at a safe, palatable heat while you finish the rest of the meal.
More than a plate warmer
The 30 to 80 degree range is what makes this drawer genuinely versatile. At the low end it proves bread dough evenly, with none of the draughts and guesswork of proving on a countertop. In the middle it keeps a finished dish ready while guests linger. And the Slow Cook programme turns the drawer into a low-temperature oven for meat, poultry and vegetables, freeing your main oven for everything else.
Designed to disappear into your kitchen
At 29 x 59.4 x 51.8 cm, the N34HA11N1B is made for a standard 60 cm cabinet with a 29 cm niche, typically installed directly beneath a built-in oven so the pairing reads as one appliance. The Push & Pull front means no handle interrupts the run of your furniture: tap it and the drawer glides open. The stainless steel finish matches the rest of NEFF's N 70 cooking line, and touch controls with a favourites button keep daily use to a single press.
How It Compares
| Kitchen Need | NEFF Technology | Practical Benefit |
|---|---|---|
| Dinner parties | 40-plate capacity | A full table's crockery warms in one load, so every course is served on hot plates. |
| Home baking | Dough proving function | Low, steady warmth from 30 °C gives bread and pizza dough a reliable, draught-free rise. |
| Slow-cooked meals | Slow Cook programme | Gentle, even heat tenderises meat, poultry and vegetables while your oven stays free for sides. |
| Staggered mealtimes | Keep warm function | Late arrivals eat properly: plated food holds at temperature instead of going into the microwave. |
| Handleless kitchens | Push & Pull door | The front opens with a tap, preserving a clean furniture run with no protruding handle. |
| Coffee lovers | Cup warming | Up to 192 espresso cups sit ready and warm, so crema is not lost to cold china. |

The Verdict
Strengths
- 54-litre drawer warms up to 40 plates at once
- Adjustable thermostat from 30 to 80 degrees Celsius
- Slow Cook programme for meat, poultry and vegetables
- Dough proving function for home bakers
- Handleless Push & Pull opening

Considerations
- Built-in only: it needs a 29 x 56 x 55 cm niche in suitable cabinetry and a mains connection, so allow for professional installation.
- The maximum temperature is 80 degrees Celsius; it warms, proves, holds and slow cooks, but it will not roast, crisp or brown food.
- At 29 cm high it takes a full compact-appliance slot, which is worth planning around in a tight kitchen layout.
