Description

Philips Evnia 49M2C8900L 49" QD-OLED 144Hz Curved Super Ultrawide Gaming Monitor, White · product code 49M2C8900L/00

The Philips Evnia 8000 series 49M2C8900L is a 49-inch QD-OLED super ultrawide: 5120 x 1440 pixels at 32:9, the width of two Quad HD monitors in one 1800R curve, with every pixel lighting itself for a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio and a 0.03ms response time. It runs at 144Hz over DisplayPort, carries VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification with peaks of 1000 nits, and covers 99% of DCI-P3 in true 10-bit colour with a Delta E under 2.

Both AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible are supported, and connectivity goes far beyond the usual: 2 x HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, a USB-C input with 90W power delivery for a laptop, a four-port USB 3.2 hub with KVM switching between two computers, and four 7.5W DTS speakers with 30W output. Three-sided Ambiglow lighting extends the picture onto the wall, the stand adjusts for height, swivel and tilt, and a remote control is in the box. Energy class G.

Full description

Evnia 8000 is Philips' flagship gaming display, built for people who want a single screen to replace a dual-monitor desk. QD-OLED combines OLED's per-pixel contrast with quantum-dot colour, so highlights are bright and saturated while blacks stay perfectly black, and VESA ClearMR 8000 certifies its motion clarity.

Picture-by-Picture and Picture-in-Picture show two machines at once, the built-in KVM lets one keyboard and mouse drive both, and the USB-C port charges a laptop at up to 90W while carrying its video. Stark ShadowBoost lifts dark corners without washing out the rest, SmartImage game modes tune for FPS, racing and RTS, and a cooling shield protects the panel for long-term colour accuracy. HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C and USB upstream cables are included, along with a VESA bracket.

Legal guarantee

Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.

Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:

  • do not match the description;
  • do not function as intended.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:

  • free repair or free replacement;
  • in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

For more information on your rights in a specific country, scan the QR code below or ask the seller. europa.eu/youreurope/guarantees

What to do if you receive non-conforming goods:

  1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue;
  2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement.

Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
