Description

Philips NeoPix 156 HD 720p Short Throw Projector with Wi-Fi Screen Mirroring, Grey · product code 224-NPX156/INT

The Philips NeoPix 156 stands upright like a torch and throws a 1280 x 720 HD picture up to 60 inches wide from closer than most projectors manage, thanks to a 0.88:1 short-throw lens. Dual-band Wi-Fi lets an iPhone, Android phone, Mac or PC mirror its screen to the wall without a cable, and HDMI and USB are there for a console, laptop or a drive of films.

Automatic keystone correction squares the image as soon as the projector is tilted, a manual focus ring sharpens it, and zoom sizes it to the wall. The LED light source is rated for up to 30,000 hours, 150 lumens suits a darkened room, and a 3W speaker or the 3.5mm output takes care of sound. At 10.3cm square and 18cm tall with a carry handle, it weighs just over half a kilo.

Full description

Philips designed the NeoPix 156 for small rooms, where a short-throw lens matters: a 60-inch image sits on the wall from little more than a metre away, so the projector can live on a bedside table or a shelf at the end of a bed.

Wireless mirroring covers phone videos, photo albums and presentations, and the quiet fan design keeps the soundtrack in front. There is no built-in operating system, so a streaming stick on the HDMI port is the route to catch-up TV.

Legal guarantee

Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:

  • do not match the description;
  • do not function as intended.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:

  • free repair or free replacement;
  • in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

What to do if you receive non-conforming goods:

  1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue;
  2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement.

Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
