Description

Samsung 100" M90H Mini LED 4K Ultra HD HDR Smart TV (2026), Color Booster Pro · product code UE100M90HUXXU

The Samsung M90H is a single 100-inch Mini LED television, and scale is the point of it. Supreme Mini LED Dimming splits the backlight into small zones so contrast holds across a screen more than two metres wide, while the NQ4 AI Gen2 processor handles 4K AI Upscaling, Color Booster Pro and Auto HDR Remastering, which matter more here because any weakness in a source is magnified. HDR covers Mini LED HDR, HDR10+ and HLG.

The panel is 100 Hz native with variable refresh to 144 Hz, and all three HDMI inputs accept 4K at 144 Hz alongside Game Bar, FreeSync Premium and Gaming Hub. A DVB-S2 satellite tuner and a SmartThings and Matter hub are built in. Plan the install: it weighs 43.5 kg with the stand and takes a 600 x 400 mm VESA bracket.

GEnergy rating

The M90H exists for one reason: scale. This is a single 100-inch Mini LED set, and everything about the specification is chosen to carry a picture that size. Supreme Mini LED Dimming controls a backlight split into small zones, so contrast survives being stretched across more than two metres of screen rather than thinning out into grey.

The NQ4 AI Gen2 processor does the heavy lifting on signal quality, which matters more here than on a 55-inch set, because any softness in a broadcast or streaming source is magnified. 4K AI Upscaling, Color Booster Pro and Auto HDR Remastering all work on that problem. The panel is 100 Hz native with variable refresh to 144 Hz.

At this size the processing matters as much as the backlight, and the M90H pairs Mini LED dimming with the NQ4 AI Gen2 chip to keep sources honest.

About this size: SKU is UE100M90HUXXU with no A before UXXU. Weighs 43.5 kg with stand and needs a 600 x 400 mm heavy-duty bracket.

Ideal For

Rooms built around the screen

A dedicated media room or a long open-plan living space with a viewing distance to match, where a 75 or 85 inch set would still feel too small.

Sport and film at scale

The 100 Hz native panel and Motion Xcelerator 144 Hz hold fast movement together, and Mini LED dimming keeps night matches and dark scenes from flattening out.

Gaming on a very large screen

Three HDMI inputs at 4K 144 Hz, FreeSync Premium, Game Bar, AI Gaming Optimizer and Super Ultra Wide Game View, all on a panel fast enough to use them.

Why Mini LED matters at 100 inches

Spreading a picture across a screen this large is unforgiving. A conventional backlight has to light a much bigger area, and contrast drops away as a result. Supreme Mini LED Dimming divides the backlight into small controllable zones, which keeps bright highlights intense while surrounding areas stay dark. Combined with Mini LED HDR, HDR10+ and Auto HDR Remastering, it means dark films and evening sport still look like they have depth rather than a uniform grey wash.

Installation, weight and mounting

Plan the installation before ordering. The set weighs 43.5 kg with its stand and 42.5 kg without, stands 2226.5 mm wide, and takes a 600 x 400 mm VESA mount, which means a heavy-duty bracket rated well above the panel weight and fixings into something structural. Two people minimum are needed to lift it, and doorways, stairwells and lift dimensions are worth measuring first. On a unit, check the furniture is wide and rated to take it.

Gaming, sound and smart features

All three HDMI inputs accept 4K at 144 Hz, with FreeSync Premium, Game Bar, AI Gaming Optimizer, Super Ultra Wide Game View, Mini Map Zoom and HGiG on top, plus Gaming Hub for cloud titles. Tizen with One UI carries the Vision AI Companion, Live Translate and Generative Wallpaper, and a SmartThings and Matter hub is built in. Audio is 20 W over two channels with OTS Lite, Adaptive Sound+, Active Voice Amplifier and Q-Symphony.

The Verdict

Why it stands out

A 100-inch Mini LED screen with zone dimming
100 Hz native panel with 144 Hz variable refresh
All three HDMI inputs run 4K at 144 Hz
Satellite tuner and SmartThings hub built in
NQ4 AI Gen2 upscaling matters at this screen size

Worth knowing

It weighs 43.5 kg with the stand and uses a 600 x 400 mm VESA pattern, so a heavy-duty bracket, structural fixings and two people are needed.
Energy rating is class G at 283 kWh a year in standard dynamic range, which is the highest running cost of any set in this range.
Audio is 20 W across two channels, which is modest next to a screen of this scale, so budget for a soundbar or an AV receiver.

What’s in the Box

The carton holds the TV, its stand, the remote control, a power cable and the user manual.
