The M70H is the entry point into Mini LED for 2026. Rather than lighting the panel with a handful of large LEDs, the backlight is divided into far smaller zones and driven by Supreme Mini LED Dimming, so a bright object can hold its intensity while the area around it stays dark. The Mini LED Processor 4K does the upscaling.
Everything else is pitched at ordinary living-room use. Tizen with One UI carries the catch-up and streaming apps Irish homes actually open, alongside Samsung TV Plus and the Vision AI Companion. Gaming Hub streams titles without a console. Three HDMI inputs run 4K at 60 Hz, one of them with eARC for a soundbar, and updates are guaranteed to 31 December 2031.
Zone-controlled Mini LED dimming at this end of the range is the real story, provided you can live with a 50 Hz panel and an aerial-only tuner.
About this size: Samsung publishes no 120 Hz DLG figure for the 43 inch; treat it as the 50 Hz native panel only. VESA is 200 x 200 mm.

What the Mini LED backlight does
A Mini LED backlight uses much smaller emitters than a standard LED set, which lets Supreme Mini LED Dimming control light in far more discrete areas of the screen. In practice that means street lights, candles and specular highlights keep their punch while the night sky behind them stays dark. Contrast Enhancer and Color Booster then work on the signal itself, adding depth to flat-looking broadcast material and holding colour as brightness climbs.
Sound, sockets and the tuner
Audio is 20 W across two channels with Object Tracking Sound Lite, Adaptive Sound and Q-Symphony, which lets a compatible Samsung soundbar play in concert with the TV speakers rather than replacing them. Connections run to three HDMI inputs at 4K 60 Hz with eARC on one, a single USB-A, Ethernet, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3. The tuner is the one to check: DVB-T2 and cable only, with no satellite reception built in.
Smart features and everyday gaming
Tizen with One UI puts apps, live channels and Samsung TV Plus on one home screen, with the Vision AI Companion on hand for questions about what is playing. Apple AirPlay and Google Cast cover phone streaming, and both Alexa and Google Assistant are supported. For gaming there is the Gaming Hub for cloud titles, Auto Game Mode, VRR and HGiG, and Motion Xcelerator for sport. Samsung lists a 120 Hz DLG mode from 55 inches upward.

Worth knowing
- There is no satellite tuner. DVB-T2 and cable are covered, so Saorview from an aerial is fine, but a dish will need its own receiver or set-top box.
- The panel is 50 Hz native and the HDMI inputs top out at 4K 60 Hz, so console players chasing 4K at 120 Hz should look further up the range.
- This is an LCD panel with a Mini LED backlight rather than self-emissive pixels, so a little blooming around bright objects on black is possible.

Legal guarantee
Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.
Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:
- do not match the description;
- do not function as intended.
Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:
- free repair or free replacement;
- in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.
Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.
