Description

Samsung 77" S99H OLED 4K Ultra HD HDR Smart TV (2026), Color Booster Pro · product code QE77S99HATXXU

The Samsung S99H is a 2026 4K OLED built around design, sound and reflection control. Self-lit pixels switch off individually for black, and the NQ4 AI Gen3 processor adds 4K AI Upscaling Pro and AI Motion Enhancer Pro. The Glare Free screen carries an anti-reflection finish that Samsung says UL validated against the UGR glare standard. HDR covers HDR10+ Adaptive, Gaming and Advanced plus HLG, with no Dolby Vision support.

Audio is a 70 W 4.2.2ch system with Dolby Atmos, Object Tracking Sound+ and Q-Symphony. The FloatLayer body is bezel-less on four sides and under 30 millimetres deep. Gaming runs at up to 165 Hz variable refresh on all four HDMI ports with FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible support. Note that no One Connect box is included: the set is Wireless One Connect Ready and the box is sold separately.

77" S99H OLED 4K Ultra HD HDR Smart TV

The S99H is the design-led OLED in the 2026 range. Self-lit pixels do the contrast work, the NQ4 AI Gen3 processor adds 4K AI Upscaling Pro and AI Motion Enhancer Pro, and the Glare Free screen, which Samsung says was validated by UL against the UGR glare standard, keeps window reflections from sitting on top of the image.

The body is a FloatLayer design, bezel-less on four sides, under 30 millimetres deep and raised on round feet. Sound is a 70 W 4.2.2ch system with Dolby Atmos, Object Tracking Sound+ and Q-Symphony. Tizen brings Vision AI Companion, the Art Store and Generative Wallpaper, and the set doubles as a SmartThings and Matter hub with Zigbee and Thread built in.

Buy this one for the built-in sound and the FloatLayer body: a 4.2.2 channel system removes the usual reason to order a soundbar on day one.

Ideal For

Rooms where the television is visible

A four-sided bezel-less FloatLayer body under 30 millimetres deep on round feet, made to look considered from the side as well as from the sofa.

Buyers who want built-in sound

The 70 W 4.2.2ch system with Object Tracking Sound+ and Dolby Atmos goes further than most flat panels, and Q-Symphony still adds a soundbar later.

Bright, glare-prone living rooms

The Glare Free screen, which Samsung says UL validated against the UGR standard, cuts the mirroring that normally forces OLED owners to close the curtains.

Contrast without a backlight

OLED pixels generate their own light, so the set can hold a bright highlight next to genuine black with nothing bleeding between them. HDR arrives as HDR10+ Adaptive, HDR10+ Gaming and HDR10+ Advanced plus HLG, and the NQ4 AI Gen3 processor handles upscaling for the broadcast and streaming material that still is not 4K. AI Motion Enhancer Pro is aimed at sport, where fast pans are where cheaper processing usually falls apart.

A sound system you can live with

Seventy watts across 4.2.2 channels is a real speaker layout rather than a token one, with up-firing drivers for the height information in a Dolby Atmos mix. Object Tracking Sound+ moves effects to match what is happening on screen, Active Voice Amplifier Pro lifts dialogue when the room gets noisy, and Q-Symphony means a compatible Samsung soundbar plays with the television speakers instead of switching them off.

Wireless One Connect, explained

Samsung lists this line as Wireless One Connect Ready. The optional box takes your sources and sends the signal to the screen, allowing consoles and boxes to sit up to ten metres away and leaving only power at the panel. It is genuinely useful for a wall-mounted installation, but it is an accessory sold separately: nothing in the television carton performs that job, so budget for it if the neat cabling is the reason you are buying.

The Verdict

Why it stands out

  • Self-lit pixels deliver black without any blooming
  • Glare Free screen tames reflections in bright rooms
  • 70 W 4.2.2ch Atmos audio needs no soundbar
  • 165 Hz variable refresh across all four HDMI ports
  • Art Store and Generative Wallpaper built into Tizen

Worth knowing

  • No One Connect box is supplied. The set is Wireless One Connect Ready, and the wireless box itself is an optional accessory that Samsung sells separately.
  • Dolby Vision is not supported. Dynamic HDR is covered by HDR10+ Adaptive, Gaming and Advanced alongside HLG, which most streaming services in Ireland now carry.
  • Energy class and VESA pattern both change between sizes in this line, so check each against your wall bracket and your running costs before ordering.

What’s in the Box

The television and its Round Feet stand only: the Wireless One Connect box is an optional accessory and is not included in the carton.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:

  • free repair or free replacement;
  • in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
