Sennheiser Flex 5000 Wireless TV Listening System
The Sennheiser Flex 5000 turns headphones you already own into a wireless TV listening system. A transmitter connects to the television and doubles as a charging dock, while a lightweight clip-on receiver carries the sound to whichever wired headphones or earphones you prefer. It connects by digital optical or 3.5 mm analogue, so it works with both modern and older televisions.
The point of it is control over your own volume. A dedicated Speech Intelligibility function reduces the background noise within the TV soundtrack so dialogue stands out, three hearing profiles let you match the sound to TV, film or music, and left and right channels adjust independently for anyone whose hearing differs between ears. Up to 12 hours of listening comes from a single charge, the 2.4 GHz digital connection reaches up to 30 metres, and up to four receivers can share one transmitter.
