Designed to give television sound back to people who struggle with it, the Sennheiser SET 860 is a wireless listening system with a light under-chin headset that sits comfortably alongside glasses. Multiple hearing profiles and a dedicated Speech Intelligibility function bring dialogue forward, and because the system works independently of your television's own volume, nobody else in the room has to compromise. The docking transmitter connects through optical digital or 3.5mm analogue outputs and powers the whole setup.

It is designed to be simple to live with. The headset switches on and off automatically as you lift it from or return it to the dock, so charging happens without thinking about it. Up to 18 hours of operating time from a three-hour charge covers days of viewing, and a 70-metre range lets you move through the house freely. Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is taken back free of charge on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis. Waste batteries including rechargeable batteries are taken back free of charge. You are not obliged to make any purchase when returning old batteries. Each local authority must also accept household WEEE and small batteries free of charge at its recycling facilities. All WEEE and waste batteries must be recycled and should not be placed in any of your household wheelie bins. Make sure you always recycle all your old electrical goods and batteries.
