Sitting at the more capable end of Soundcore's true wireless range, the Liberty 5 combines Adaptive ANC 3.0 with 9.2 mm wool-paper diaphragm drivers and bass-tuning tubes, for listeners who want detail as well as low-end weight. LDAC and Hi-Res Wireless Audio support, alongside SBC and AAC, allows higher-resolution streaming from compatible phones, and Dolby Audio modes for music, films and podcasts can be switched on in the app. Six microphones with AI noise reduction keep calls clear.

The practical details matter as much as the specification. Up to 12 hours of playback with ANC off, or eight with it on, extends to 48 and 32 hours with the case, and 10 minutes of USB-C charging returns around five hours. Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is taken back free of charge on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis. Waste batteries including rechargeable batteries are taken back free of charge. You are not obliged to make any purchase when returning old batteries. Each local authority must also accept household WEEE and small batteries free of charge at its recycling facilities. All WEEE and waste batteries must be recycled and should not be placed in any of your household wheelie bins. Make sure you always recycle all your old electrical goods and batteries.
