Description

ASUS TUF Gaming VG249Q5A 23.8" Full HD 200Hz Fast IPS Gaming Monitor, Black · product code VG249Q5A

The ASUS TUF Gaming VG249Q5A is a 23.8-inch Full HD gaming monitor with a Fast IPS panel running at 200Hz and a 0.3ms minimum response time, so fast shooters and racing games look as sharp in motion as they do standing still. It is both NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium certified, and ASUS ELMB Sync lets the blur-reduction backlight strobe work at the same time as variable refresh, which most monitors at this price cannot do.

The 23.8-inch panel covers 99% sRGB, with 300 nits brightness and 178-degree viewing angles, in a size that fits a compact desk or a two-screen setup. Two HDMI 2.0 ports and a DisplayPort 1.4 connect a PC and two consoles, with 2 x 2W speakers and a headphone jack on board. GamePlus overlays add a crosshair, timer and FPS counter, DisplayWidget Center puts every setting a mouse click away, and TÜV-certified Flicker-free and Low Blue Light modes look after late sessions. The stand tilts, the 100 x 100mm VESA mount takes an arm, and the panel is energy class E.

Full description

TUF Gaming Series 5 brings five upgrades to ASUS's most popular gaming monitor class: a 200Hz refresh rate, a 0.3ms Fast IPS panel, ELMB Sync, DisplayWidget Center and TUF Gaming A.I. features such as a dynamic crosshair and AI Visual picture tuning. The VG249Q5A is the 23.8-inch member of the family.

Variable refresh is handled by both GPU camps, so an RTX or Radeon card gets tear-free frames across the 48 to 200Hz range, and consoles get 120Hz over HDMI 2.0. A DisplayPort cable, power cord and an L-shaped screwdriver for the stand are in the box, and the monitor is HDCP 2.3 compliant for streaming services.

Legal guarantee

Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.

Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:

  • do not match the description;
  • do not function as intended.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:

  • free repair or free replacement;
  • in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

For more information on your rights in a specific country, scan the QR code below or ask the seller. europa.eu/youreurope/guarantees

What to do if you receive non-conforming goods:

  1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue;
  2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement.

Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
