Description

Belling 44L Table Top Drinks Cooler, Black · product code BDC44BK

Belling's BDC44BK keeps drinks cold where you want them: on the kitchen counter, in the den or behind a home bar. A full-height glass door shows off the cans and bottles inside, a chrome wire shelf splits the 44 litres into two tiers, and the black cabinet looks the part next to a coffee machine or a TV.

Set the chill with the dial inside, then let it hum along at 40dB. It is rated E on the EU energy label at 78kWh a year, measures 49.5cm tall by 47cm wide by 44cm deep, and is rated for rooms from 10°C to 38°C, so a cool utility room is fine. There is no freezer section, just a single compartment that you defrost by hand now and then.

Full description

The Belling BDC44BK is a table-top drinks cooler with a glass door, sized to sit on a worktop, a sideboard or a home bar and keep cans and bottles cold without filling the main fridge. The black cabinet is 49.5cm tall and 47cm wide, and the 44-litre interior is divided by a chrome wire shelf so cans can stand two rows high with the labels showing through the glass.

A thermostat dial inside sets the temperature, the compressor runs at 40dB and the EU label rates it E at 78kWh a year. With a single fresh-food compartment it defrosts manually, so a quick wipe-out every so often is all the maintenance it needs.

Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:

  • do not match the description;
  • do not function as intended.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:

  • free repair or free replacement;
  • in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

What to do if you receive non-conforming goods:

  1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue;
  2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement.

Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
