The Belling BL86WH packs 88 litres of fresh-food storage into a cabinet just 47.5cm wide, so it fits the gaps that rule out a full-width fridge: a narrow slot beside the sink unit, a utility room corner or a studio kitchen. It is a pure larder design with no ice box, leaving three glass shelves, a salad drawer and three door shelves free for the weekly shop.

Automatic defrosting means you never chip ice off the back wall, the compressor is rated at a low 37dB, and a D energy class with 68kWh of annual consumption keeps running costs down. A reversible door lets you choose which way it opens, a thermostat dial sets the temperature, and at 85cm tall it sits under a standard worktop in white.

Belling's BL86WH is a slim under-counter larder fridge for kitchens where a standard 55cm or 60cm cabinet will not fit. At 47.5cm wide, 85cm tall and 44.5cm deep it slots under a worktop or stands on its own in a utility room, office or student flat, and the whole 88-litre interior is given over to fresh food because there is no ice box taking up the top shelf.

Three glass shelves and a salad drawer beneath the bottom shelf keep groceries sorted, while three door shelves hold milk, juice and jars. The fridge defrosts itself, runs at 37dB and carries a D energy rating at 68kWh a year. The door can be hung on either side, and a thermostat dial on the inside wall sets the chill.
