The Series 6 MBA578BS7B is a built-in double oven that cleans itself. Both the 71 litre main cavity and the 34 litre top cavity have pyrolytic programmes, which is unusual in a double oven and removes the least popular job in any kitchen. The finish is stainless steel, with retractable pop-out dials and a white LCD display.

Where it really pulls ahead is the function list. Nine main oven functions run from 3D Hotair and a pizza function to low temperature cooking, defrost and keep warm, with a range from 30°C to 275°C.
