Lenovo Idea Tab Pro (TB373FU)
A 12.7-inch Android tablet with a 3K 144Hz display, MediaTek Dimensity 8300, 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage and the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus in the box.
The Idea Tab Pro is a large Android tablet built for people who want to do more than scroll. A 12.7-inch 3K display, a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 with eight cores and 8GB of LPDDR5X memory sit behind a metal body just 6.9mm thick. The Lenovo Tab Pen Plus is included, so note-taking and sketching work from the first day.
Storage is where this version earns its place. 256GB of UFS 4.0 flash is the quickest generation Lenovo fits to this tablet, and a microSD slot takes cards up to 1TB on top. That leaves room for offline films, large sketch files and a serious photo library without the constant management that smaller tablets demand.
Ideal For
The bundled Tab Pen Plus and the paper-like anti-glare screen make handwritten notes genuinely practical, and 256GB of fast storage holds several years of lecture material offline.
A 12.7-inch 3K panel with four JBL speakers tuned for Dolby Atmos, plus around eleven hours of streaming per charge, covers long journeys and quiet evenings comfortably.
The 144Hz refresh rate keeps pen strokes close behind the nib, and UFS 4.0 storage means large layered illustration files open and save without an obvious wait.
Key Features
A 2944 x 1840 LTPS IPS panel at 400 nits with a 144Hz refresh rate and an 87 per cent screen-to-body ratio.
The screen surface diffuses reflections and gives the pen a little resistance, which makes handwriting feel closer to paper than glass.
The fastest flash generation Lenovo offers on this tablet, with a microSD slot alongside that accepts exFAT cards up to 1TB.
The pen is supplied in the box rather than sold separately, so annotation, sketching and handwritten notes are available immediately.
Four speakers tuned by JBL and optimised for Dolby Atmos give video and music genuine width rather than thin, centred sound.
A 10200mAh battery rated for around eleven hours of YouTube streaming, charging over USB-C at up to 45W with USB Power Delivery.
Why the display does the heavy lifting
At 2944 x 1840 across 12.7 inches, text stays crisp at the size you actually read it, and the 144Hz refresh rate means scrolling and pen strokes keep up with your hand rather than trailing behind. The LTPS IPS panel is rated at 400 nits with a paper-like anti-glare surface, so it holds up under room lighting and beside a window. TUV Rheinland has certified it for reflection-free, flicker-free and low blue light behaviour.
What UFS 4.0 storage means in use
Tablet storage is often the hidden brake. This version uses 256GB of UFS 4.0, the newest generation Lenovo fits here, which shows up when a large sketch file opens, when an app installs, or when you copy a season of video across before a flight. The microSD slot takes cards up to 1TB in exFAT, so bulk media can live on removable storage while apps and working files stay on the fast internal flash.
Built for a bag, not a shelf
The body is metal, 6.9mm thick excluding the camera bump, and weighs around 620 grams, which is manageable for a screen this size. Lenovo rates it IP52 for dust and water resistance. The fingerprint reader is built into the power button rather than under the display, and the USB-C port carries charging, DisplayPort output and audio, so the tablet can drive an external screen. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 handle connections, and a 3-point pogo connector supports a keyboard attachment.
How It Compares
| What You Need | Technology | Practical Benefit |
|---|---|---|
| All-day lecture notes | Bundled Tab Pen Plus | Handwritten notes work from day one, with the pen supplied rather than bought separately at extra cost. |
| Offline film libraries | 256GB UFS 4.0 plus microSD | Fast internal storage for apps and working files, with removable cards up to 1TB for bulk video. |
| Sketching and illustration | 144Hz LTPS IPS panel | The screen refreshes 144 times a second, keeping strokes tight to the nib rather than lagging behind. |
| Reading in bright rooms | Paper-like anti-glare, 400 nits | The diffused surface cuts reflections from windows and lighting, so long reading sessions stay comfortable. |
| Watching with sound | Four JBL speakers, Dolby Atmos | Four drivers tuned by JBL give films and music proper stereo width without needing headphones. |
| Working from a cafe | Wi-Fi 6E with Bluetooth 5.3 | The 6GHz band avoids the congestion of older networks, and Bluetooth 5.3 handles headphones and keyboards. |
