The Mars 3 Air is a projector built to leave the house: 1.7kg with a carry handle, a battery that lasts a two-and-a-half-hour film, and Google TV with Netflix built in, so there is no streaming stick or laptop to bring along. This bundle adds Nebula's own carry case, which is what makes the grab-it-and-go idea practical.
Point it at a wall and it sets itself up in about three seconds, handling focus, keystone, screen fit and anything in the way. The picture is 1080p at 400 ANSI lumens, anywhere from 30 to 150 inches, and two 8W Dolby Audio speakers mean a garden or a tent does not need a separate speaker.
What stands out
A case made for it
The carry case is designed by Nebula to fit the Mars 3 Air, in durable, flexible anti-static nylon that keeps dust, knocks and scratches off the projector between uses. It turns a portable projector into one you will actually take with you.
Google TV with Netflix on board
Streaming apps run on the projector itself, Netflix included, and Chromecast is built in for casting from a phone. HDMI 2.1 with ARC takes a console or a laptop when you want one.
Set up in three seconds
Intelligent Environment Adaptation handles screen fit, keystone correction, autofocus and obstacle avoidance on its own. Put it down, switch it on, and the picture is square and sharp without touching a menu.
2.5 hours of film, 8 hours of music
A full charge covers up to two and a half hours of video in Eco mode, enough for most films, or eight hours as a Bluetooth speaker when the screen is not needed.
1080p HDR at 400 ANSI lumens
A DLP engine with an RGB LED light source rated for 30,000 hours throws a Full HD picture at a 1.2:1 ratio. At 400 lumens it is at its best in the evening or a dimmed room rather than in daylight, which is when a portable projector tends to get used anyway.
Dual 8W Dolby Audio
Two 8W speakers with Dolby Audio fill a room or a patio without anything plugged in, and the fan stays under 28dB so it does not talk over the quiet scenes.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.
