NEFF N70 Built-In Fridge Freezer with Freezer at Bottom
A fully integrated N70 fridge freezer with 382 litres across fridge and freezer, Full NoFrost, Home Connect app control and remarkably quiet 33 dB running.
The KB7966DD1G is NEFF's N70 built-in fridge freezer with the freezer at the bottom, designed to disappear behind your kitchen doors in a generous 71 cm-wide housing. With 284 litres of fridge space and a 98 litre freezer, it suits busy households that want serious cold storage without a freestanding appliance breaking up the kitchen.
The standout is how little it asks of you. Full NoFrost keeps the freezer free of ice, so defrosting is gone for good, while Home Connect lets you check and adjust temperatures from your phone. At 33 dB it runs quietly enough for open-plan living, and the soft close flat hinge eases the door shut on its own.
Ideal For
With 284 litres of fridge space, four shelves, seven door bins and three freezer drawers, there is room for a full weekly shop plus batch-cooked meals in the freezer below.
At 33 dB with a soft close door, it is one of the quieter fridge freezers you can fit, so it will not intrude on conversation in a kitchen-living space.
Fully integrated behind furniture doors in a 194 cm niche, it keeps the run of cabinetry unbroken while the wider 71 cm housing adds noticeably more capacity than a standard column.
Key Features
A 284 litre fridge sits above a 98 litre, four-star freezer, giving a large household proper space for fresh food and frozen stores alike.
Dry air circulates through the freezer to stop ice forming on food and walls, which means you never have to empty and defrost it again.
Add the appliance to your home network and use the app for remote monitoring and control, plus iService Remote support diagnostics.
A flexible drawer for fruit and vegetables gives produce its own dedicated storage conditions, helping your shop stay fresher for longer.
Class B noise emissions of just 33 dB(A) make this a genuinely quiet appliance, well suited to kitchens that double as living space.
The door pulls itself gently closed from a 20 degree angle, and the right-hinged door is reversible to suit your kitchen layout.
Why the extra width matters
Most integrated fridge freezers squeeze into a 56 cm column, and capacity suffers for it. This N70 is built for a 71 cm-wide, 194 cm-tall niche, and those extra centimetres translate directly into shelf space: 382 litres in total, arranged over four fridge shelves, seven door bins and three full freezer drawers. If you are planning a new kitchen, giving up one slim cabinet for this housing buys a great deal of everyday practicality.
The end of defrosting day
Full NoFrost circulates dry air through the freezer compartment so ice never builds up on the walls or your food. There is no need to empty everything into cool bags once a year and chip away at the ice; the freezer simply keeps working at full capacity. Should the power fail, the insulation holds food safely frozen for up to 13 hours, and the four-star rating means it is suited to long-term frozen storage.
A fridge you can check from the sofa
Home Connect puts the fridge freezer on your Wi-Fi network, and from there the app gives you remote monitoring and control of temperatures, along with iService Remote diagnostics if anything ever needs attention. It is genuinely useful rather than a gimmick: turn on Super Cooling before you leave the supermarket so the fridge is ready for the new shop, or reassure yourself the door is shut after a hectic school run. A door alarm covers the moments the app cannot.
How It Compares

| Weekly family shop | 284 L fridge section | Four shelves and seven door bins swallow a full trolley without stacking things two deep. |

| Open-plan kitchen noise | 33 dB(A) operation | Quiet Class B running means the compressor will not interrupt dinner or television in shared spaces. |
| Hate defrosting | Full NoFrost | Circulating dry air stops ice forming, so the freezer never needs to be emptied and thawed. |
| Busy schedules | Home Connect app | Monitor and adjust temperatures remotely, and trigger Super Cooling before the shopping arrives home. |
| Handless kitchen designs | Fully integrated fitting | The appliance sits behind your own furniture doors, so the kitchen's look stays completely consistent. |
