The Nextbase 222XR is a front-and-rear dash cam bundle that combines a 1080p front camera with a wired 720p rear-window camera. The front unit records at 30fps with a 140° viewing angle and uses a 2.5-inch LED HD IPS screen for setup and playback. Night Vision, Wide Dynamic Range and a G-Sensor support everyday recording, while Intelligent Parking Mode can record a bump or movement detected when the vehicle is left unattended.

The supplied rear camera connects with a six-metre cable, creating a two-camera setup without requiring a separate wireless connection. The 222XR has no Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or GPS, so it suits drivers who prefer a simpler local-recording system. Nextbase’s Click&Go PRO magnetic powered mount makes the front camera easy to attach and remove. A dash-cam-compatible U3 microSD card is recommended, with support up to 128GB.
