The Nextbase OBD Power Cable is a plug-and-play five-metre power lead for compatible Nextbase dash cams. It connects to a vehicle’s OBD port, giving the camera a permanent power supply without occupying the 12V accessory socket or requiring fuse taps. A 90° OBD connector helps with placement in the vehicle, while an LED indicator shows when power is available and the dash cam is connected.

Because the OBD port provides a permanent supply, a compatible dash cam can retain access to power when the vehicle is parked, supporting functions that need power after the ignition is off. The cable includes a 5V Mini USB power lead and ferrite core and works with a long list of Nextbase cameras, including 622GW, 522GW, 422GW, 322GW, 222 and 122. The supplier SKU differs from Nextbase’s canonical model number, so the public identifier should be NBDVRS2OBD while retaining the supplier SKU unchanged.
