Outin Mino Portable Electric Espresso Machine

The Outin Mino in Space Grey brews 22-bar espresso from cold water in 149 seconds, with IP67 protection and USB-C fast charging built for genuine outdoor use.

The Mino is Outin's electric espresso machine for people who take coffee where kitchens do not go. In Space Grey, measuring 67 mm across and 195 mm tall at 685 g, it fits a backpack side pocket or jacket, and its IP67 rating shrugs off splashes, rain and dust out on the trail.

Its brewing credentials are serious: a 22-bar pump, extraction at up to 93.3°C, and a heating system that takes 50 ml of cold water to temperature in 149 seconds. The triple 3,000 mAh battery manages up to six self-heated brews per charge, and USB-C fast charging goes from 20% to 80% in just 45 minutes.

Ideal for

Serious trail coffee

IP67 splash and dust resistance, an operating range from -15°C to 45°C and consistent extraction up to 5,000 m mean the Mino keeps brewing in conditions that stop most machines.

Fast turnarounds

USB-C fast charging reaches 80% in 45 minutes and a full charge in about 90, so the Mino is ready to brew again by the time camp is packed away.

Grounds and capsules

The included adapter takes Nespresso Original Line capsules while the filter basket holds up to 12 g of grounds, with a dosing funnel and folding spoon-tamper supplied in the box.

Key features

22 bar pump

The pump extracts at up to 22 bar, giving shots the density and crema of a serious espresso machine rather than a travel compromise.

149-second self-heating

From cold, 50 ml of water reaches extraction temperature in 149 seconds, remarkably quick for a machine that fits in a jacket pocket.

IP67 protection

Sealed against dust and splashes to IP67, the Mino is built for riversides, beaches and Irish drizzle rather than just kitchen worktops.

3 x 3,000 mAh battery

Three 3,000 mAh cells totalling 32.4 Wh deliver up to six self-heated brews per charge, or more than 500 shots starting from hot water.

45-minute fast charge

USB-C fast charging takes the battery from 20% to 80% in 45 minutes, with a complete charge arriving in roughly 90.

High-altitude brewing

Extraction stays consistent at altitudes up to 5,000 m and in temperatures from -15°C to 45°C, so mountain mornings still start properly.

More to know

Espresso that survives the outdoors

Plenty of portable coffee makers are portable only in fair weather. The Mino is rated IP67 against splash, water and dust, operates from -15°C to 45°C and keeps its extraction stable at up to 5,000 m of altitude. Its construction is food-grade plastic, stainless steel and silicone with a BPA-free Tritan cup, and it works quietly at under 60 dB(A). That is equipment specified for the outdoors, not a kitchen appliance wearing a jacket.

Small tank, serious extraction

The numbers behind each shot are what separate the Mino from novelty travel brewers. Water reaches up to 93.3°C before extraction, and the pump pushes it through at up to 22 bar. The tank takes a deliberate maximum of 70 ml and the basket up to 12 g of grounds, which is single-shot territory by design: everything the battery heats goes into one concentrated, crema-topped espresso rather than a diluted mug of compromise.

Power that lasts a full weekend

Battery behaviour decides whether a machine like this is practical, and the Mino's arithmetic is generous. Three 3,000 mAh lithium cells at 10.8 V and 32.4 Wh will self-heat up to six brews from room-temperature water, and if you start with hot water from a flask the same charge covers more than 500 shots. When it does run down, USB-C fast charging restores 20% to 80% in 45 minutes and a full charge in about 90 from a 30 W input, so a power bank or car socket between stops keeps it ready.
