Multi-Room Homes
Position Deco units around the property to extend one unified network into rooms that may receive a weaker signal from a single router.

Fast dual-band Wi-Fi 6, intelligent mesh roaming and straightforward app management for more consistent connectivity across the connected home.
Deco X50 V2 replaces isolated Wi-Fi hotspots with one coordinated mesh network. Compatible Deco units work together under a single network name, allowing phones, tablets and laptops to connect to a suitable access point as you move through the home.
Dual-band AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 delivers up to 2402Mbps on 5GHz and 574Mbps on 2.4GHz. Technologies including OFDMA, MU-MIMO, 1024-QAM and 160MHz channel bandwidth help improve efficiency and available capacity when used with compatible client devices.

Support for more than 150 devices accommodates computers, televisions, consoles, cameras and a growing range of smart-home products.
Wi-Fi 6 capacity and device prioritisation support video calls, downloads and entertainment taking place across the network.
Combined wireless rates of up to 3.0Gbps provide additional capacity for streaming, browsing, gaming and everyday connected devices.
Wider 5GHz channels allow compatible devices to access more bandwidth, supporting faster local and internet-based activity.
Deco learns from the network environment and connection behaviour to refine how compatible devices are served throughout the home.
Deco units share one network name, helping compatible devices move between rooms without manually selecting another Wi-Fi connection.
Every Deco provides three auto-sensing WAN/LAN ports for broadband, wired equipment and optional Ethernet backhaul.
Security scanning, parental controls, Quality of Service and reporting tools help you organise and oversee the household network.
Deco X50 V2 provides stated wireless rates of up to 2402Mbps on the 5GHz band and 574Mbps on 2.4GHz. The faster 5GHz connection suits compatible laptops, phones, consoles and streaming devices, while 2.4GHz supports broader compatibility and many smart-home products.
Beamforming directs signal strength towards connected equipment, while BSS Colour helps reduce the impact of neighbouring Wi-Fi networks.
OFDMA allows a wireless channel to serve multiple compatible Wi-Fi 6 devices more efficiently, while MU-MIMO enables simultaneous communication with supported clients. This is particularly useful when several household members are online at the same time.
Earlier Wi-Fi devices remain supported, although Wi-Fi 6 features require compatible client hardware.
All Deco units work together as one system rather than broadcasting separate networks for each room. Compatible phones and tablets can transition towards a suitable Deco as you move, supporting more consistent calls, streaming and browsing around the property.
Client devices must support the relevant roaming standards, and actual switching behaviour can vary between devices.
Deco units can communicate wirelessly for a cleaner installation, or through Ethernet where network cabling is available. Wired backhaul can provide a dedicated route between units and reduce reliance on the wireless connection between mesh points.
Additional compatible Deco models can be added when broader mesh coverage is required.
The Deco app guides you through initial setup and provides ongoing control at home or remotely. View connected devices, create guest and dedicated IoT networks, prioritise selected equipment and install firmware updates from one interface.
HomeShield adds network scanning, access controls, parental management and Quality of Service. WPA3-Personal encryption is supported, together with OpenVPN, PPTP and L2TP server and client functions. HomeShield includes a basic plan, while selected advanced services require a paid subscription.
