Description

Belling 55cm 247L Frost Free Fridge Freezer, Black Steel · product code BFF250BKIX

With its freezer on top and a black steel finish, Belling's BFF250BKIX is a fridge-first appliance for a narrow space. The fridge holds 195 of its 247 litres on silver-trimmed glass shelves, with a chill zone for meat and fish, and the 52-litre four-star freezer above takes the frozen basics. The layout keeps the fridge you open most often at hand height, with no bending to the bottom shelf.

Total No Frost means neither compartment ever needs defrosting, and interior electronic controls set the temperature precisely. The cabinet is 167cm tall, 55cm wide and a shallow 56cm deep, rated E for energy at 196kWh a year, and runs at 39dB. Black steel gives it a smart, modern look against light or dark units, and if you buy more fresh food than frozen, this split makes more sense than a 50/50 cabinet.

Full description

The Belling BFF250BKIX is a 55cm-wide fridge freezer with the freezer over the fridge, so everyday groceries sit at eye level and in easy reach. The fridge holds 195 litres on glass shelves with silver trims and includes a chill zone, while the four-star freezer above holds 52 litres and freezes 2.4kg of fresh food in 24 hours.

Total No Frost technology stops ice forming in either compartment, so you never have to defrost it. Electronic controls inside the fridge set the temperature, and the cabinet is 167cm tall, 56cm deep and only 54.5cm wide. Finished in black steel, it is rated E for energy at 196kWh a year, runs at 39dB and works in rooms from 16°C to 43°C.

What stands out

Freezer over fridge

The 195-litre fridge takes up most of the cabinet, with a 52-litre freezer on top, so the fresh food you reach for most often is at hand height.

Total No Frost

Frost does not build up in the fridge or the freezer, so there is nothing to defrost by hand.

Chill zone

A colder zone in the fridge for meat, fish and other foods that keep best just above freezing.

Interior electronic controls

Set the temperature precisely from the control panel inside the fridge.

Slim and shallow

At 55cm wide and 56cm deep, it suits narrow gaps and galley kitchens where a deeper appliance would stick out.

Black steel finish

A dark steel exterior with silver-trimmed glass shelves inside.

Rated E, 39dB

196kWh a year and 39dB running, rated C for noise.

Legal guarantee

Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.

Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:

  • do not match the description;
  • do not function as intended.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:

  • free repair or free replacement;
  • in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

What to do if you receive non-conforming goods:

  1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue;
  2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement.

Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
