Description

Belling 60cm Curved Glass Chimney Hood, Black · product code CHIM604GBLK

A curved glass canopy gives the Belling CHIM604GBLK a lighter look than a solid steel hood, and the black finish ties in with dark hobs and ovens. It is a 60cm wall-mounted chimney hood with a push-button fan, two LED lights and a pair of washable grease filters, made to sit above a standard 60cm hob.

Belling rates the extraction at up to 750 cubic metres an hour, enough to clear a hard-working hob, and the maximum noise level is listed at 65dB. Push buttons on the front edge select the speed and the lights. The hood body measures 60cm wide by 50cm deep, the chimney is 306mm wide and takes 150mm ducting, and two 500mm chimney sections are supplied to suit different ceiling heights.

Full description

The Belling CHIM604GBLK is a 60cm chimney hood with a black body and a curved smoked-glass canopy that reaches well beyond the body on either side. Extraction is rated at 750m³/h, with push-button controls, two LED lights and washable metal grease filters.

The installed height is listed at 94cm, with a 60cm by 50cm canopy. Belling appliances are distributed in Ireland by Glen Dimplex Ireland.

What stands out

Curved glass canopy

A sweep of smoked glass across the front of the hood widens the canopy and gives the hood a lighter look than a solid steel one.

750m³/h extraction

Rated at 750 cubic metres an hour, the fan clears steam and cooking smells from a busy 60cm hob.

Push-button controls

Simple buttons on the front edge select the fan speed and switch the lights.

Twin LED lights

Two LED lamps set into the underside light the whole hob surface.

Washable grease filters

Two metal grease filters come out for washing, so there is nothing to buy or replace in normal ducted use.

Two-piece chimney

The chimney measures 306mm wide and 289mm deep, takes 150mm ducting and comes with two 500mm sections to suit the ceiling height.

Noise

Maximum noise is listed at 65dB.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:

  • free repair or free replacement;
  • in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
