Description

Belling 83cm 4 Zone Vented Induction Hob, Black · product code BVH83BK

The Belling BVH83BK combines an 83cm induction hob with a downdraft extractor in the middle of the glass, so steam and cooking smells are drawn away at pan level and there is no need for a hood overhead. Four flexi induction zones adapt to the cookware on them, slider touch controls set each zone and the fan, and an auto mode adjusts extraction to suit what is cooking.

The extraction module is rated A++ for energy, moving up to 544 cubic metres of air an hour in normal use and 659 on boost, at 67 dB at full normal speed. A cast iron vent cover, a spillage collector cup and four charcoal filters are included, along with an exhaust kit with straight and down connectors, and a filter change indicator reminds you when the charcoal needs replacing. A piano black glass top with a bevelled front edge and a child safety lock complete the package.

Full description

The Belling BVH83BK is an 83cm vented induction hob: four flexi induction zones around a central extractor that pulls steam and odours down through a cast iron vent, with slider touch controls for both cooking and extraction.

Its extraction module, registered on EPREL as BV83BK, is rated A++ with a maximum airflow of 544 m³/h in normal use and 659 m³/h on boost. Four charcoal filters, an exhaust pack and straight and down connectors are supplied.

What stands out

Hob and extractor in one

Cooking and ventilation in a single 83cm appliance, so the wall above the hob stays clear and an island installation needs no hood.

Four flexi induction zones

The induction zones adapt to the size and shape of your cookware, heating the pan directly for speed and control.

A++ extraction

The extraction module is rated A++ for energy, with fluid dynamic efficiency class B and grease filtering class C, and uses 9.9 kWh a year.

Airflow and noise

323 to 544 m³/h in normal use and 659 m³/h on boost, at 54 to 67 dB normally and 74 dB on boost.

Auto extraction and slider controls

Two slider touch controls set the zones and the fan, and auto mode adjusts extraction to the cooking underway.

Everything for installation

Four charcoal filters, an exhaust pack with two straight pipes, straight and down connectors and a spillage collector cup come in the box, and a filter change indicator tells you when to replace the charcoal.

Piano black glass

A bevelled front edge and a cast iron vent cover give it a clean look, and a child safety lock keeps the controls from accidental use.
