The Belling Linear is a 60cm box-style chimney hood with a brushed stainless steel chimney and a black front panel, a straightforward fit above a standard 60cm hob. Its four-speed motor moves up to 650 cubic metres of air an hour, so you can run it gently for a pan of pasta and turn it right up when the frying pan is spitting.

Electronic controls sit along the front edge where they are easy to reach, and two LED lights give a clear view of the hob below. Washable metal grease filters can be taken out and cleaned rather than replaced. The slim box shape suits a modern run of units, and the same design comes in a 90cm width if your hob is larger.

Belling's Linear LIN600STA is a 60cm chimney hood in the flat, box-style shape that suits a contemporary kitchen, finished in stainless steel with a black front panel. A four-speed motor rated at 650m³/h clears steam and cooking smells quickly, and electronic controls make changing speed simple.

LED lighting brightens the hob and the metal grease filters are washable. Belling appliances are distributed in Ireland by Glen Dimplex Ireland.

At full speed the motor shifts up to 650 cubic metres of air an hour, enough to clear a busy hob quickly, while the lower settings suit gentle simmering.

Legal guarantee

Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.

Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:

  • do not match the description;
  • do not function as intended.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:

  • free repair or free replacement;
  • in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is taken back free of charge on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis. Waste batteries including rechargeable batteries are taken back free of charge. You are not obliged to make any purchase when returning old batteries. Each local authority must also accept household WEEE and small batteries free of charge at its recycling facilities. All WEEE and waste batteries must be recycled and should not be placed in any of your household wheelie bins. Make sure you always recycle all your old electrical goods and batteries.
