Bosch Series 6 60cm 4 Burner Gas Hob with FlameSelect
A 60cm gas hob in black enamel with continuous cast iron supports and FlameSelect, which sets each burner to one of nine defined flame levels.
The Series 6 PCP6A6I90 is a four-burner gas hob finished in black enamel rather than glass or steel. It measures 58.2 cm across and drops into a standard 56 cm cut-out, so it suits a straightforward replacement in an existing 60cm run of worktop. Full-metal dials sit at the front and lift off when it is time to clean.
Two Series 6 features do the work. FlameSelect divides each burner's range into nine precisely defined levels, so heat is set by number rather than by eye. And the cast iron pan supports run continuously across the surface, which means a heavy pot can be slid from the 3 kW high-speed burner to the 1 kW economy burner without lifting it.
Ideal For
A 56 cm cut-out and a 20 mm minimum worktop thickness are the usual figures for a 60cm hob, so this can go where an older four-burner model came out.
Continuous cast iron supports mean a full casserole never has to be lifted between burners. The supports sit on rubber feet and are dishwasher-suitable when they need more than a wipe.
Nine defined FlameSelect levels on every burner suit anyone who cooks by recipe and wants the same low heat available again next time without hunting for it.

The hob is 58.2 cm wide, 52 cm deep and 5.15 cm high, and needs a cut-out of 4.5 x 56 x 48-49 cm in a worktop at least 20 mm thick. At 10.9 kg it is manageable, but there is no plug on the 1 m cord, so the 220-240 V supply is wired into a 3 A fused connection by an electrician. Lift the continuous supports off for the dishwasher, pull the metal dials off the fascia, and wipe the enamel underneath.
