NEFF N50 Built-In Double Oven with Home Connect and Pyrolytic Cleaning
NEFF's connected N50 double oven combines a 71-litre pyrolytic main cavity and 34-litre second oven with Home Connect control from wherever you happen to be.
The U2ACH7AN7B is a stainless steel built-in double oven from the N50 series, pairing a 71-litre main cavity with an eight-method cooking repertoire and a 34-litre second oven with grill. It suits busy households that want family-scale capacity with modern connected convenience.
Two things set it apart from simpler doubles: pyrolytic self-cleaning, which reduces baked-on residue in the main oven to ash you wipe away, and Home Connect, which puts monitoring, control and voice commands on your phone. Together they remove the two chores ovens are best known for.
Ideal For
Two cavities cook a main and sides at different temperatures at once, while remote monitoring means you can watch dinner from the school run queue at home.
Pyrolytic cleaning turns grease and drips to ash at the touch of a button, with EasyClean covering quick maintenance between deep cleans.
Bread baking, pizza setting, CircoTherm hot air and hot air grilling in the main oven cover ambitious cooking; the second cavity handles the everyday.
Key Features
Eight heating methods including CircoTherm hot air, bread baking, pizza setting, bottom heat and hot air grilling, across four shelf positions.
Full width and half width grills plus conventional and bottom heat make the upper oven genuinely useful, not just an afterthought.
The main oven heats residue to ash behind a locked door; when it cools, a quick wipe restores the cavity.
Remote monitoring and control, voice commands via compatible assistants, and app-only functions such as let rest and preheating.
An A energy rating with 0.81 kWh per fan-forced cycle keeps the big oven economical for everyday use.
Quadruple glazing keeps the door front at very low temperatures, backed by a control panel lock and automatic safety switch-off.
Capacity for the way families eat
One oven is rarely enough on the days that matter. Here the 71-litre main cavity takes the turkey, the lasagne or three trays of traybake under CircoTherm's even hot air, while the 34-litre second oven grills, warms or bakes independently above it. Each cavity has its own temperature, so the menu stops bending around the appliance. With a temperature range reaching 275 degrees and a pizza setting in the main oven, weekend cooking gets the same consideration as weekday routine.
The end of oven-cleaning day
Pyrolytic cleaning is the feature you appreciate most three months in. Select the programme and the main oven raises its cavity temperature until spatters and grease carbonise; the door locks automatically for safety and the quadruple glazing keeps the outside cool. Once finished and cooled, the residue wipes out as ash. For lighter soiling, EasyClean softens residue with heat and water in minutes. The oven stays presentable without a single session of kneeling and scrubbing.
Connected where it actually helps
Home Connect on this oven is practical rather than gimmicky. Remote monitoring and control mean you can check the roast from the sofa, adjust the temperature from the garden, or have a compatible voice assistant set things in motion while your hands are full. App-exclusive functions add let rest and preheating to the eight on-dial methods, and push notifications tell you when a programme finishes. The physical controls stay refreshingly traditional, retractable steel-trimmed dials and a large-character LCD, so everyone in the house can drive it, connected or not.

The Verdict
Strengths
- 71-litre main oven plus 34-litre second cavity
- Pyrolytic self-cleaning with EasyClean support
- Home Connect app, voice and remote control
- Eight main-oven methods including CircoTherm and pizza setting
- A-rated main cavity at 0.81 kWh per cycle
