NEFF N50 Built-In Single Oven with Slide&Hide Door and Home Connect
NEFF's N50 single oven in Graphite-Grey combines the Slide&Hide retractable door with pyrolytic self-cleaning, Home Connect app control and a 71-litre CircoTherm cavity.
The B6ACH7AG7B brings together the features NEFF is best known for in one 60cm built-in oven, finished in Graphite-Grey rather than the usual stainless steel. It suits kitchens with darker or handleless cabinetry, and cooks who want a large single oven that looks after its own cleaning and can be managed from a phone.
Its signature is the Slide&Hide door, which retracts completely beneath the oven floor at a touch of the fixed handle. With the door out of the way you can baste, stir and check dishes right at the cavity edge, with nothing hot jutting into the room. It is a small change that reshapes how you work at the oven, particularly in tighter kitchens.
Ideal For
The Graphite-Grey Edition finish sits naturally against matt, slate or handleless cabinetry where standard stainless steel would jar, letting the oven blend in rather than announce itself.
Pyrolytic programmes turn residue to ash you simply wipe away, while EasyClean handles quick day-to-day maintenance between deeper cycles.
Home Connect adds remote monitoring and control from the app, plus extra methods such as air fry, let rest and preheating that only appear when the oven is online.
Key Features
A large single cavity with four shelf positions takes big roasting trays and multi-level bakes, with a 30 to 275 degree Celsius range from dough proving temperatures upwards.
The fully retracting door glides beneath the cavity on a fixed handle, giving unobstructed access for basting and lifting heavy dishes safely.
Self-cleaning programmes heat the interior until soiling reduces to ash, with the door locking automatically during the cycle; EasyClean covers lighter maintenance.
CircoTherm leads a set that includes Circo-Roasting, CircoTherm Intensive, Bread Baking, Bottom Heat and a full surface grill, with three more methods available through the app.
Built-in WLAN links the oven to the Home Connect app for remote control, temperature proposals and app-only functions including air fry.
An A+ efficiency rating with quadruple-glazed CoolTouch door keeps running costs and external door temperatures down, reaching as low as 30 degrees Celsius.
Why the disappearing door matters
Every conventional oven door becomes a hot barrier between you and your food. Slide&Hide removes it: the door retracts fully under the cavity, so you can stand directly at the oven to baste a joint, rescue a wobbling tray or lift out a heavy casserole without leaning over hot glass. The fixed handle keeps the motion simple and controlled. In galley kitchens and tight corners, where an open oven door can block the whole walkway, the difference is felt daily.
Cleaning that runs itself
The B6ACH7AG7B offers two levels of cleaning. Pyrolytic programmes take the hard work away entirely: the oven heats its interior until baked-on residue breaks down to a fine ash, the quadruple-glazed door locks for the duration, and afterwards you wipe the cavity out. For everything short of a deep clean, EasyClean offers a quicker, energy-saving routine for day-to-day maintenance. Between the two, the days of oven-cleaning gloves and caustic sprays are largely behind you.
CircoTherm and the eight functions behind it
CircoTherm is the heart of the cooking system, circulating hot air so evenly that three levels can bake at once without flavour transfer. Around it sit seven more functions: conventional top and bottom heat, Circo-Roasting for joints, CircoTherm Intensive for crisp bases, a dedicated Bread Baking setting, Bottom Heat, a full surface grill and CircoTherm Gentle. Connect the oven to Wi-Fi and the Home Connect app unlocks air fry, let rest and preheating as well. The white LCD display with temperature proposals and an actual-temperature readout keeps all of it legible at a glance.
How It Compares
| Kitchen Need | NEFF Technology | Practical Benefit |
|---|---|---|
| Tight galley kitchens | Slide&Hide retractable door | The door vanishes under the oven, so open-oven access never blocks the walkway or your reach. |
| Dreaded oven cleaning | Pyrolytic programmes | High-heat cycles reduce residue to ash for a quick wipe-out, no scrubbing or chemicals needed. |
| Batch baking | CircoTherm on three levels | Even hot air lets trays share the oven without swapping shelves or mingling flavours. |
| Home bread makers | Bread Baking setting and 30 °C minimum | A dedicated bread function plus low-temperature settings that suit proving dough. |
| Busy schedules | Home Connect app control | Check, adjust and preheat the oven remotely, with app-only extras such as air fry. |
| Households with children | CoolTouch door and safety locks | Quadruple glazing keeps the door cooler, with control panel lock and pyrolytic door locking. |
