An 80cm angled glass hood from NEFF's N70 range with Home Connect, pairing 915 m³/h intensive extraction with quiet 51 dB everyday running.
The D88IAN2S0B replaces the traditional canopy with an angled sheet of black-printed glass that rises from the wall above the hob. The design puts the extraction surface at eye level without hanging over your head, so taller cooks stop ducking, and the 80cm width gives generous coverage. It suits contemporary kitchens where black glass ties in with ovens and hobs from the same design language.
Behind the glass, an efficient brushless motor extracts 432 m³/h in normal use at just 51 dB, with an intensive setting that surges to 915 m³/h when frying gets serious. Home Connect brings the hood onto your Wi-Fi: it can be run from the app, follow a compatible hob automatically, respond to voice assistants and choose between standard, performance and silence profiles.

An angled answer to an old problem
Conventional chimney hoods work well but hang exactly where heads go. This N70 angles its 80cm black glass face up the wall instead, capturing steam as it rises while leaving the space above the hob open. Extraction that manages itself
Home Connect turns the hood from an appliance you operate into one that mostly operates itself. Paired with a compatible hob over Wi-Fi, extraction starts and adjusts to match what is happening below. The app gives control from anywhere in the house and passes on a grease filter alert when the filters need washing, while voice assistant compatibility means a shouted request works when both hands are in the mixing bowl. A run-on function keeps clearing the air for ten minutes after you switch off.

The numbers span an unusually wide band: from quiet low-speed running to 432 m³/h at the top normal speed and 915 m³/h in intensive mode, with noise from 51 dB in normal use to 68 dB flat out. That range is the point. Legal guarantee
Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.
Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:
- do not match the description;
- do not function as intended.
Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:
- free repair or free replacement;
- in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.
Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.
