An 80cm N 70 induction hob with a downdraft extractor built into its centre, removing the need for a cooker hood and keeping the view clear above island and open-plan kitchens.
The V58NHQ4L0 combines two appliances in one worktop cutout: a four-zone N 70 induction hob and a fully integrated downdraft extraction system. It suits island installations and open-plan rooms where a chimney hood would dominate the space, and it fits a standard 60cm base cabinet despite its generous 80cm cooking surface.
The extractor is the standout. Steam and cooking smells are drawn down at the source, between the pans, before they reach eye level. It switches on automatically when a zone is used, runs to 500 m³/h in normal ducted operation with a 622 m³/h boost, and can be configured for ducted or recirculating extraction to suit the room.
Ideal For
With the extractor built into the hob itself, nothing hangs overhead. An island or peninsula keeps its clean sightlines, and the system still captures steam and odours directly at the cooking surface.
The 80cm surface gives room for four pans at once, and two Combi zones join into one large zone when a fish kettle, griddle or oversized casserole needs the space.
Home Connect adds Remote Monitoring, a Dish Assistant for temperature suggestions and an app-controlled Keep Warm setting, so you can check the hob is off after you have left the house.

An imprinted touch ring controls power with a twist of the finger, with 17 stages per zone and a configurable Favourite Button for quick access.
An integrated sensor regulates pan temperature automatically, holding your chosen frying level so butter does not scorch and steaks brown consistently.
Stainless steel filters with 12 layers capture 94% of grease, and the whole filter and collector unit lifts out for the dishwasher.
A 200 ml collector handles everyday condensate and splashes, backed by a 700 ml safety collector underneath for a boiled-over pot.
Ducted or recirculating, your choice
The same appliance supports both extraction routes. Ducted installations carry air outside and reach 622 m³/h on boost; recirculating setups clean the air through the supplied Clean Air Plus odour filter and return it to the room, reaching 595 m³/h. The system switches on automatically when you start cooking and runs a quiet delayed shut-off afterwards, twelve minutes ducted or thirty recirculating, to clear lingering odours without you thinking about it.
Quiet enough to talk over
Downdraft extraction sits below ear level, and NEFF has paired it with a low-noise blower. Normal ducted settings span 42 to 69 dB(A), with 74 dB(A) only at full boost, so a conversation at the island carries on while the fan works. In an open-plan room where the kitchen, dining table and sofa share one space, that difference is heard every single evening.
One cutout, two appliances, sensible cleaning
Everything that touches cooking vapour is designed to come apart without tools. The grease filter and liquid collector lift out from above with one hand via the glass ceramic handle, and every part is dishwasher-safe and heat resistant. Spills are managed in stages: 200 ml of everyday liquid collects in the upper unit, while a 700 ml safety collector below catches serious accidents, 900 ml in total, protecting the watertight motor. The hob installs frameless into a 60cm base cabinet, with current management options for 16A, 13A or 10A connections where the full 7.4 kW supply is not available.
