NEFF N70 80cm Flush-Mount Induction Hob with Integrated Ventilation System
The flush-mounted version of NEFF's 80cm N 70 vented induction hob, sitting level with a stone or composite worktop while its built-in extractor removes the cooker hood altogether.
The V58PHQ4C0 pairs a four-zone N 70 induction hob with a fully integrated downdraft extractor, finished for Flushline installation so the black ceramic sits level with the surrounding worktop. It is the choice for kitchens planned around stone, granite or synthetic surfaces where the hob should read as part of the counter rather than an appliance on top of it.
Extraction is handled where cooking happens. The downdraft system switches on automatically with the first zone, draws steam and odours between the pans, and delivers up to 500 m³/h in normal ducted operation with a 622 m³/h boost. Both ducted and recirculating configurations are supported, and a quiet delayed shut-off clears residual smells after you finish.
Ideal For
Flushline installation sets the ceramic level with stone, granite or synthetic surfaces, and NEFF Collection dark zone printing keeps markings discreet, so the hob almost disappears when not in use.
With extraction built in below, no hood interrupts the view over an island or peninsula. Steam is captured at the surface, keeping open-plan sightlines and pendant lighting exactly where you planned them.
An 80cm surface holds four pans comfortably, two Combi zones merge for bigger cookware, and 25 kg-scale roasting tins are no problem for the induction surface beneath a big family cook-up.
Key Features
Designed to mount level with stone, granite or synthetic worktops, with NEFF Collection exclusive dark zone printing for a minimal, near-invisible finish.
Ducted operation delivers 500 m³/h at the top normal setting and 622 m³/h on boost; recirculating mode reaches 595 m³/h through the supplied odour filter.
Every zone runs at 2.5 kW with 3.7 kW PowerBoost, and paired zones connect into one large area when a griddle or fish kettle needs the room.
Power is set with a twist of the finger on the imprinted ring, through 17 stages per zone, with a configurable Favourite Button.
The integrated sensor regulates pan temperature automatically, so frying holds steadily at the level you chose instead of creeping hotter.
Remote Monitoring shows the hob's status from anywhere, while the Dish Assistant suggests settings and Keep Warm can be run from the app.
Built for stone, planned to vanish
Flush mounting is a different discipline from drop-in installation. The V58PHQ4C0 is specified for stone, granitic and synthetic worktops, recessed so the glass sits level with the surface around it; other materials need a suitability check with the worktop manufacturer. The reward is a kitchen where the cooking area reads as one continuous plane, with the NEFF Collection's dark zone printing keeping even the markings quiet until the hob lights up.
Extraction that manages itself
The downdraft system starts automatically when a cooking zone is used and, after you finish, runs a delayed shut-off at an ultra-low fan level, twelve minutes in ducted mode or thirty in recirculation, to erase lingering odours. Normal ducted settings span 42 to 69 dB(A), reaching 74 dB(A) only on full boost. Clean-filter reminders tell you when maintenance is due rather than leaving you to guess.
Cleaning and connection, thought through
The grease filter and liquid collector lift out from above in one hand via the floating glass ceramic handle, and every part is dishwasher-safe. Twelve stainless steel filtration layers capture 94% of grease, while spills are staged through a 200 ml collector and a 700 ml safety collector below it, 900 ml in all, keeping the watertight motor protected. Electrically, the 7.4 kW connected load can be managed down for 16A, 13A or 10A connections, and the whole appliance still fits a standard 60cm base cabinet.
How It Compares
| Kitchen Need | NEFF Technology | Practical Benefit |
|---|---|---|
| Designer worktops | Flushline installation | The ceramic sits level with stone or composite surfaces for one uninterrupted worktop plane |
| Island cooking | Integrated downdraft extractor | Steam and smells are drawn down between the pans, so nothing needs to hang overhead |
| Big-pan batch cooking | 2 Combi zones on 80cm | Paired zones merge into one large area so oversized cookware heats evenly edge to edge |
| Open-plan kitchen noise | 42-69 dB(A) normal settings | Extraction stays quiet below ear level, keeping conversation easy while the fan works |
| Delicate frying | Extended Frying Sensor | Automatic temperature regulation holds the pan at your chosen level throughout the fry |
| Checking from the sofa | Home Connect Remote Monitoring | Confirm the hob is switched off and browse settings from the app anywhere |
