Rangemaster Estel Deluxe 100cm Dual Fuel Range Cooker - Pale Cream with Chrome Trim

Pale Cream with Chrome trim, cast iron pan supports and a 4 kW multi-ring wok burner over two ovens that both carry an A energy rating.

Pale Cream with Chrome trim is the easiest Estel Deluxe 100 finish to place in an existing kitchen. The cooker is dual fuel and freestanding, with an electric 80 litre left oven, an 82 litre right oven and a separate grill, so three things can be on the go at once.

The headline is capacity. An 80 litre electric oven on the left and an 82 litre oven on the right give 162 litres between them, and the grill has its own 29 litre cavity at 2.3 kW rather than sharing an oven. Both ovens are A rated, the left one has catalytic liners, and shelving runs to seven levels on the left and nine on the right.

Ideal for

Full-house cooking

Two ovens of 80 and 82 litres plus a grill in its own 29 litre cavity mean three dishes can cook at once, which is what a full table on a Sunday actually needs.

Keen cooks

Burners from 1 kW to 4 kW, a multi-ring wok burner and removable cast iron pan supports give real control, from holding a sauce steady to getting a pan properly hot.

Statement kitchens

At 99.4 cm wide with chunky rotary dials, an LED touch clock and cast iron pan supports, it is meant to be looked at, here in Pale Cream with Chrome trim.

Key features

Five-burner gas hob

Five gas burners run from 1 kW up to 4 kW, including a multi-ring wok burner, for a total natural gas rating of 11.40 kW.

80 litre electric oven

The left-hand oven is electric and holds 80 litres, with seven shelf levels, two flat shelves, a telescopic shelf and Rangemaster's Handyrack.

82 litre second oven

The right-hand oven adds 82 litres across nine shelf levels with four flat shelves, so a second dish never has to wait its turn.

29 litre separate grill

A separate grill cavity rated at 2.3 kW runs at full or half width, which suits two slices of toast as readily as a full tray.

A rated ovens

Both cavities carry an A energy rating under the EU label, which is worth knowing on a cooker offering this much oven space.

Catalytic left oven

Catalytic liners in the left-hand oven deal with grease during cooking, and the semi-gloss cast iron pan supports lift out for washing.

More to know

Two ovens and a separate grill

Rangemaster configures the Estel Deluxe 100 as double ovens and a grill, which is three separate cooking spaces rather than one compromised cavity. The left-hand oven is electric and holds 80 litres across seven shelf levels. The right-hand oven adds 82 litres across nine levels with four flat shelves. The grill sits in its own 29 litre cavity at 2.3 kW. On a busy evening that means a roast, a tray bake and something under the grill can run at the same time without any of them borrowing space.

What dual fuel means here

Dual fuel on this model is a five-burner gas hob above an electric left-hand oven. The burners are rated at 1 kW, 1.7 kW, 1.7 kW, 3 kW and 4 kW, the largest being a multi-ring wok burner, and ignition is single-handed so you can light a ring without a second hand on a button. The pan supports are semi-gloss cast iron and lift out for cleaning. Because the cooker draws on both supplies, it needs a gas connection and a 32 A electrical circuit.

Living with a 100cm range cooker

This is a freestanding cooker measuring 89.5 cm to the hotplate, 99.4 cm wide and 60.4 cm deep, or 65.4 cm once the handles are counted. Height to the top of the pan supports is 91.0 cm, with 40 mm of adjustment to line the hob up with a worktop. It weighs 140.16 kg, so plan the route in and have two people on hand. Controls are front rotary dials with an LED display touch clock, and Rangemaster covers it with a 2 year warranty.
