Four cavities, four jobs at once

Most 110cm cookers give you two ovens and a grill. This one adds a fourth cavity. The left-hand oven is multifunction and holds 80 litres, the right-hand oven is a fan oven of the same size, the grill is separate at 29 litres and 2.3 kW, and the slow cook oven runs its own thermostat over 27 litres. That means a roast, a tray of vegetables, a grilled starter and a pot of stock can all be underway without any of them waiting.

A hob set up for real cooking

Seven zones across 11.4 kW of natural gas is a lot of top-end capacity. Five gas burners handle the fast work, including a multi-ring wok burner at 4.0 kW for stir-frying and searing. Two electric radiant zones sit alongside them for the jobs gas is less suited to, such as holding a sauce just below a simmer or keeping a pan warm. Cast iron pan supports are semi-gloss and removable, and ignition is single-handed.

What owning one actually involves

This is a serious piece of kit and needs treating as one. At 152.28 kg, delivery and positioning are a two-person job, and at 109.2cm wide by 65.4cm deep it will not go into a standard 60cm gap. It hard-wires to a dedicated supply rated at least 32A, with a maximum load of 5.5 kW, and the 11.4 kW of gas burners need a connection made by a qualified installer. Height to the hotplate is 89.5cm, with 40mm of adjustment to meet the worktop, and cleaning is by catalytic liners.
