Description

Belling 142L Chest Freezer with Frost Shield, White · product code BCFE151

The Belling BCFE151 is a 142-litre chest freezer built for the garage as much as the kitchen. Frost Shield technology keeps it working in ambient temperatures down to -15°C, so it can sit in an outbuilding or shed all winter, and at 70.5cm wide it takes up little more floor than a washing machine. The four-star compartment freezes 7kg of fresh food in 24 hours.

A digital control panel manages the temperature, Super Freeze drops it quickly when you load up after a big shop, and a storage basket keeps small packs off the floor of the chest. When it is time to defrost, a spout at the front drains the water without tipping the freezer. Rated E for energy at 182kWh a year and 40 dB(A) for noise.

Full description

A chest freezer that does not mind the cold. Belling's Frost Shield lets the BCFE151 run in ambient temperatures as low as -15°C, which is what makes it suitable for a garage, shed or utility room that is not heated. Inside, 142 litres of four-star space take bulk buys, batch cooking and the Christmas order, with an interior basket for the small things.

The electronic control panel is on the front, so there is no reaching inside to adjust it, and the Super Freeze function speeds up freezing for freshly added food. A recessed handle keeps the lid flush, and a front access spout drains defrost water. The freezer measures 84.5cm high, 70.5cm wide and 54.5cm deep, and is rated E for energy at 182kWh a year.
