Powerpoint 291L Chest Freezer

Two hundred and ninety-one litres makes the Powerpoint P1130K the largest of Powerpoint's standard chest freezers, with a single four-star compartment that freezes 22kg of fresh food in 24 hours and holds it at -18°C. The cabinet measures 112.5cm wide, 60.8cm deep and 83.5cm high, and the open chest layout swallows bulk packs, whole joints and trays of home-grown produce without the fuss of drawers.

A mechanical thermostat dial on the front panel sets the temperature, with indicator lights beside it. The compartment defrosts manually and a drain outlet in the base lets the water out, and Powerpoint states the freezer can be used in a garage, utility room or outbuilding provided the ambient temperature remains between 10°C and 43°C. The EU energy label rates it class E at 223kWh a year, with 40dB of noise in class C.
